This is a really good thing to own, it makes wonderful hair. Yet it is very hard to get the clay through the tiny holes (of the disk that allows to make spaghetti/hair). You have to make sure the clay is very soft and try and warm the barrel a little. Some of the larger holes are obviously easier to get the clay through. I really love it though, and making hair with it is so useful!

I bought this after my Makin extruder broke. This is terrible. All my might isn't enough to get the clay to go through. I was so excited when it arrived but it's going to be completely useless to me :(

I have to admit to being really disappointed with this product as I'd eagerly awaited it's arrival for a few weeks. The product itself is well made and sturdy and the method of fixing the little discs on to change the shake of extruded clay is secure and easy to clean. However, you would need to be incredibly strong to get the clay out of the holes! Even with through kneading, fimo, fimo soft and sculpey struggled to get through and that's also with the addition of quick mix to get it even softer. I'd read other reviews and thought the reviewers may be overly fussy but the effort required to get the clay out made the device push into my hands hard enough to make them quite sore. This would work much better and should be marketed as a tool for fondant perhaps and would probably be rather good. Sadly, two stars as it wasn't fit for the purpose I required it for. I can only presume that's why it's so cheap.

As a starting extruder, it is first class, coming with a wide range of design plates. The down side for small hands is the fact that it has to be used like a syringe which can prove tough. Obviously a screw thread mechanism would be needed for extensive use or young hands. Having said that, it does the job well and the price is remarkably low.

nun was will man dazu noch sagen.....für Marzipan geeignet aber für fimo oder clay wohl kaum.....ausser frau hat mann mit viel muckies....alleine ist es kaum zu schaffen

Very cool little tool, great for making spaghetti, to clean it u bake it! Which I thought was cool hahaha

The product was well made and as described, but was too difficult for my wife to push the plunger with her fingers when loaded with clay, and as a result I had to invest in an extruder with a screw mechanism - that said this would be ideal for icing or fondant.

Works well on my clay projects. Easy to change the strainer plates. Pretty easy to clean up.

Se me ocurrió comprar este instrumento para el manejo de fondant y no me arrepiento. El extrusor es de buen material, resistente. Me encantan las diferentes boquillas. Solo hubiese querido que fuera un poco más grande para poder meter más producto.
