I ordered this exact one and the blue box came

It is the same product just updated packaging.

Anyone know what the shelf life is on this product? Thank you!

I bought a dozen packets in November of 2018 that had "best before" dates of May and June of 2020, so that's at least 18 months by the manufacturers reckoning and who knows how long they'd been in the Amazon warehouse. Plus those dates are always very conservative. They come in foil pouches, and they're curries, so they're naturally resistant to spoilage. I will use all mine before the "best before" date, but I'd be totally comfortable using them way past that. I keep mine in the kitchen cupboard, I would wager (though obviously I can't advise you to do this) they'd be fine for two years, and if kept refrigerated before opening maybe even longer. Let me repeat the disclaimer -- this is what I would be comfortable with, you'll have to decide for yourself

Have they updated the recipe? Their curry used to be contaminated with lead and could not be shipped to California.

It was shipped to me in CA so I’d imagine that they fixed the problem.

Is this case mild or medium?

If you look at the image of the box in the upper right it says "mild". I also verified that the package I have at home says the same. That being said I would have guessed at least "medium" because it has some kick to it in which I recommend lots of cilantro or coconut milk to cool it down!
