"Villeroy & Boch" label means the quality is a given, so no news here. The bowl is beautifully made, heavy but not clunky, and a creamy-white rather than pure white porcelain. It is also big and deep! A real feature, everybody who sees it comments on the lovely and very unusual shape.

Lovely little sauce/dip boats. They take up little space, do a good individual sauce job and look great too I use most days and love how useful they are

I love Villeroy and Bosch designs so I chose one to buy. My son loves it instantly, always wants to eat in it.

First come across these bowls in a restaurant and loved them so ordered two. They are pricey but you pay for a quality product. I use them for soup, breakfast and occasionally for dinner,( I’m not a big eater). Very happy with these

Very good quality, and nice design-

I already own several Villeroy & Boch pieces of china, crockery and glassware, so can attest for the fact that they withstand the test of time, even when used and placed in a dishwasher daily. The Flow range is made with a thick, white porcelain that is suitable for everyday use whilst it still looks sufficiently quirky and elegant that a few pieces on the dinner table will make it look special. The salad bowl is not of sufficient size to serve a leafy salad for a family but would be good to hold a rice or potato salad, for example. Unlike some of the other pieces in this range, the handle curves down fully to rest on the table. This is presented in a proper V&B box, so would be easy to gift (often these pieces arrive just in bubble wrap) and, as usual, everything is available individually, so you can replace breakages without any problem. I like the fact that it is easy to mix and match V&B crockery across the ranges as, other than varying fineness of porcelain, the whites are uniform, so you can choose the pieces you like for your table. This is an attractive salad bowl that would also be great to serve nibbles at a buffet.
