Quiet, Effective & Great for Everyday Use
The Philips Air Purifier 600 Series has been a fantastic addition to our home. It’s compact yet powerful, noticeably improving air quality while running quietly in the background, even at night. It’s easy to use, well designed, and gives peace of mind knowing the air is being effectively filtered. As expected from Philips, the build quality and performance are excellent. A reliable, efficient air purifier that’s ideal for everyday use—highly recommended. 🌬️✨

Nice machine, instructions are terrible though
I bought this for my Dad, he is very old and suffers from poor vascular health so cleaner air was an obvious thing to try. He liked the idea of having something he could operate on alexa and by app too so you don't have to bend down to shut it off. I set it up for him as he is quite elderly and not really a tech savvy user. It took quite a while because the instructions are quite poor and a little misleading at one point. I got there in the end and it works beautifully. A shame about the instructions and they don't include a spare filter which is a penny pinching shame. At the price we paid is good value, at full price i would have felt a little ripped off. Its very easy to use once set up and you don't have to use an app or alexa if you don't want to as it has physical buttons. The app does tell you the status of the filter though which is good.

Quiet, simple to use, and easy to maintain
The Philips Air Purifier 600 Series was very easy to set up. Connecting it to Wi-Fi and pairing it with the app was quick and straightforward. You don’t actually need to use the app or connect it to Wi-Fi for the purifier to work, but it’s definitely useful for keeping track of filter cleaning and replacement reminders. It has 3 speed settings: Low – extremely quiet, barely noticeable even at night Medium – a gentle fan hum is audible during the day but not annoying High – definitely audible but still perfectly bearable This model doesn’t provide real-time air quality readings on the unit itself, but the app does show air quality information for your local area, which can be useful. The app will notify you when the filter needs cleaning with a vacuum cleaner and also when it’s time for a replacement filter. Maintenance is simple because you only need to remove the bottom section of the unit to access the filter. A button on the top of the purifier allows you to cycle through the 3 speed settings manually or you can control the speeds through the app. The unit itself is fairly large, but not excessively so, and it seems to be doing a good job. When the app notifies you to clean the filter, there is visibly dust collected on it, so it’s clearly pulling particles from the air effectively. Overall, a simple, quiet, and easy-to-maintain air purifier that does exactly what it should.

Easy to set up, schedule works well and works seamlessly with my Google Nest.
Great product, I've definitely noticed less build up of dust in my bedroom since using it. Initial set up is super easy. The app allows you to set a schedule 3 times a day to switch itself on and off. There's 3 settings, night, normal and turbo, all work well. The night setting is virtually silent and doesnt wake me up when it turns on at 6am (my setting). Also works seamlessly with my Google nest. Looks aesthetically very nice in my room. Doesn't emit any smell. I'd say definitely work the price of £90, however doesn't tell you about the air quality in the room, which would be helpful. If that is essential to you, get the upgraded model (I would have but didn't want to pay the extra money, however, now I see how it could've been helpful so would recommend it)

Semi effective but noisy
I’m not sure if this works or not. What I am sure of is that it is very noisy if used on the top or middle setting. The sleep setting is quiet enough and didn’t disturb my sleep. I don’t know why, I guess it’s common sense - but I hadn’t realised it would chuck out so much cold air either. It’s like having a fan on all year round. I bought it as I always woke up with a blocked nose due to pollen, I think it’s now slightly better but definitely not gone.

Quite big and noisy on high, but capable and works well
We had a wood burner fitted a year ago and I've been a little concerned about the air quality in our lounge as it's been running for many hours a day for the last four months. I decided to buy an air purifier and having researched lots of models opted for this Philips version, one reason being it's low power consumption (12Watt). I was surprised at how big it is, I think I had expected something the size of a small fan but I'd say it is close to the size of a 15l bucket. Whilst it's not particularly heavy, it has no carry handle so would not be ideal for carting around from room to room. In our case I found a place behind one of the chairs, so it's tucked out of the way unobtrusively. The main on/off button is positioned rather awkwardly at the bottom of the rear of the fan, but fortunately once turned on it can be controlled via the app, which is a simple download and provides both an on/off function and speed change options. Three speeds are available, which are called "Sleep", "Medium" and "Turbo" but are more like "Quiet", "Moderate" and "Really Quite Loud". On the turbo setting it's noisy, like a desk fan on level five, but clears a lot of air, fully filtering the air in our medium sized lounge in around 15 minutes. In reality, I leave it running all day on "Sleep" mode, increasing to "Medium" if, on loading the wood burner, a bit of smoke escapes. And once in a while using "Turbo" if we've let in a lot of smoke or ash. The app also shows the state of the two filters, one washable, the other which has to be replaced. The latter should last a year and it costs around £30 for a new one. Overall I'm quite impressed by this, at £70 I think it was great value. And I was able to register online via the Philips web site to extend the warranty to three years.

Works well with Alexa
Early review, as i've only just set this "Philips Air Purifier 600 Series" up today. On first impressions I'm impressed with it. Noise: Three levels. Sleep mode is the quietest. You can barely hear it (just a very low hum). Medium mode is not too loud. probably just switch it on and leave the room and close the door. Turbo mode. This is loud. you won't want to be in the room with this on. It's an ideal setting to get the air quality good quickly. Maybe use this mode when you leave the house. Connectivity: Best to download the app straight away. All the settings are there and it's easy to use. One note, it took me two attempts to connect the app to the device. First time it failed and I had to repeat the set up process. (works fine now). The best feature in my opinion is that you can connect your newly set up Philips (app) account to your Alexa account. As long as you keep your Air purifier unit plugged in, you can control it through your Alexa. I was very impressed by this feature. Design wise, it looks good. modern looking. I will say a few people have noted how big it is. It stands about 34cm tall in height. The width is around 21cm's, so it's not exactly small. It does have a large filter inside and needs to have a large casing. There are smaller models out there if you need a small more discreet unit. Only other negative is that the power button is on the back of the unit. Not a problem if you use the app or Alexa really. Over all its a great product for the price. I'd recommend it. Edit: Five moths later, it's still working a treat. I keep it in bedroom and switch it on (via Alexa) when I wake up. I keep it on turbo mode (highest setting) and just close the bedroom door whilst it running. Very handy during the winter months when you don't want to keep the window open as its cold/raining.
