Used this to crimp 6 AWG ferrules, product worked really well. No issues at all. Feels like a quality product that will last a long time, quality crimps. Great value for the money, highly recommended!

Perfect for smaller gage wire.
Looks like good quality. Used it twice so far, and the big challenge for me is that there is no ratcheting function which makes applying the pressure needed a little difficult for me at my age. Otherwise seems to work fine.

Problems problems instead of solutions
When using a 4 gauge wire with a 4 gauge wire ferrule this tool does not even crimp it in the proper die. Once crimped it should look like one solid copper piece when using this tool as instructed using the proper method and Farrell I can pull the wire right out after crimping it don't waste your money unless you want to wrestle with trying to crimp a larger size in a smaller part of the crimp Jaws which can be done but shouldn't have to be

Perfect for large connections
I used this on a solar project where I wanted to have nice neat connections rather than just jamming wires in. This press is perfect for those larger wire jobs where you're needing to carry a decent amount of amps across a long distance. I couldn't fault it, it crimped everything I threw at it and it looks like it'll be a keeper in my tool draw.
