Review: "Karate Kid" style tie-on headband - It's a nice, soft cotton-poly blend. It's 43 1/2" long, and a little over 2 1/2" wide. It is long enough to fit an adult and leaves super-cute, long floppy end ties on a kid. My 8-year-old son was auditioning for the talent show doing a martial arts comedy act and we wanted to give him this "old school" authentic look. I couldn't tell that it was a tie-on from the pics or description, but one of the reviews mentioned that it was. SOLD! Absolutely perfect. Review: Miyagi Do Forever - Bonsai......Bonsai..... Such a great reminder of such a great film. This was the ultimate reward for the teen from New Jersey. All he had to do was take a few beatings from a few Valley boys, get sand thrown in his face by a dirt bike, another beating (that one was deserved, he dressed as a shower and soaked someone while they were rolling a joint in the bathroom, literally a potty pooper), paint an Asian man's fence, sand his floor, and wash and wax his cars for this glorious headband. I on the other hand took the easy way and bought it on desertcart. Miyagi-Do forever

Will it get a GREAT reaction?
This is not a quality head band. HOWEVER it is $5. Do you have a Japanese wedding toast to give? Want a Banzai Head Band? WRONG KANJI MFers!!! hahahaha. Will anyone notice? Probably only if you are around ethnically Japanese people. Will it get a GREAT reaction?! ABSOLUTELY. (Used twice at weddings already). Should you get it anyway? ef it why not... better than nothing right? And for your reference: BANZAI TOAST Banzai translates to “10,000 years” in Japanese (and is not to be confused with the miniature tree bonsai). Though the term is meant as an expression of enthusiasm similar to “hurrah,” it is not something that is performed at weddings in Japan. It seems to be one of those traditions that has become unique to Hawaii. The banzai toast is performed in two parts. The first toastmaster should begin by asking all the guests to stand during the toasting. The first cheer, “Shinro shimpu, banzai!” means “long life and happiness to the bride and groom” and is usually performed by a close friend of the couple. The second cheer is done by a family member and can be pronounced either “Raihin no minasama, banzai!” (more polite) or “Raihin shokun, banzai!” meaning “long life and happiness to all the guests.” After each toast, everyone cheers “Banzai!” three times in unison, raising their arms and glasses with each cheer, and drinking after the third time.

Awesome purchase!
This headband is made extremely well. It was a pleasant surprise when I opened the package and noticed the weight and quality of the fabric. The headband is long as well so that there is plenty of fabric left after knotting it. The design is as pictured. This is for my son and he could not wait to try it on when he saw it. Awesome purchase!
