Really liked the AD410 Pro diagnostic tester because it has all the features I needed and built of very high quality materials throughout! I checked out that everything was working perfectly and was even able to remove old codes after the repair was done. Way better than paying $275.00 as I was quoted, and you can own the tester for future continual monitoring & service adjustments.

I jump-started my 2015 Subaru Forester with a compact car/battery jumper, which caused every warrning light on the instrument panel, including the check engine light, to illuminate. I cleared the errors but they kept returning so I purchased the Ancel AD410 pro. After connecting the Ancel AD410 to the cars computer port, it told me the two error codes that was causing the problem. Since the vehicle was running properly prior to jump-starting, I used the Ancel 410 to clear and reset the information causing the computer error codes and so far, the problem codes have been eliminated. The engine is running, RPM's and gas consumption are normal as well as the Evap system ( upper and lower oxegen sensors) are functioning properly. It is expensive to have a car shop scan the cars computer, and I could have been charged to replace the oxegen sensors needlessly. The Ancel 410 pro saved me a lot of expense and labor charges. A lot more than this unit cost to purchase. Hopefully I will never need it again but if I or a friend do require the use of the scanner, it will be a great tool to have. Thankful that I purchased this computer scanner.

It’s easy to use and small enough to store in the vehicle. You will have to do some studying to figure out what all of the functions are and what the readings mean.

I needed a battery tester and ordered a Topdon BT100 because it seemed to have good reviews on Amazon. But I was disappointed in the Topdon tester. The alligator clips would not fit well on my batteries and it gave inconsistent results. I recently bought an Ancel AD410 Code reader for my car in Hawaii and I was impressed by its quality and function, so I decided to try the AD410 Pro which combines the battery tester with the code reader for my cars at home. When the Pro arrived I was immediately impressed with its quality appearance when compared to the Topdon model. Then I tried the battery tester functions and the tester worked very well and consistently with good quality connecting clips. I'm returning the Topdon tester and happily keeping this Ancel unit. It even comes with a decent carrying case which the Topdon model didn't have. The Ancel unit has a nice rubber protective sleeve and most importantly, it works well. On top of all of the above, you can first order the $23 black protective hard case and you get it free when you order the PRO scanner. Such a deal!

I bought this case because it was the only one that had the same name brand as the OBD2 scanner that I purchased here on Amazon. It said it will fit this scanner. It arrived very quickly and fits my scanner pretty good along with the cord being wrapped. It is very sturdy and has held up pretty good considering I don't throw it around. It keeps all the grease dust everything off of my scanner and keeps it all tucked away neatly along with the instructions for my OBD2 scanner. I believe this case can also hold other scanners that are slightly bigger as well because there is plenty of room for a larger scanner. I was shocked that this case was so big considering my scanner is so compact but the price was right. It matched my brand of scanner and it zips up with a thick zipper not a cheap flimsy one. I really like that it has a hard shell as well to keep things from crushing my scanner. I would definitely recommend this product.

This lil On-Board Diagnostic tool (OBD2) is absolutely necessary to have if you deal with cars, even if only in menial ways. This particular device allows you to view and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and tells you how many times the car has warmed up and gone through diagnostic cycles since the trouble codes were last cleared. If you are buying a used car you should use this to gather exceptionally important information, like if it has been tampered with or codes cleared before inspection to remove check engine lights. This one also has a battery tester, which is huge. Normally you would have to take the battery out of the car to get it tested for health and reliability. This is a better than average model that has a LIVE DATA STREAM which can tell you if the engine is misfiring, if there are any issues you can only be diagnosed as the vehicle is running. There is a learning curve but just be intuitive, open to interpret what you're seeing and how it relates the car. it say's it's compatible with most vehicles of a certain age. I got this on sale but here on amazon it's still below retail from the manufacturer. The value is entirely there. When you first get it you may want to go get the free firmware update from the Ancel tech website. While it may not offer the same features as a $1,000 model, it still has graphs and real time data, this thing is golden!

bought this tester to check voltage and cca of car batteries which does perfectly, and is easy to use. have not tried the obd2 reader yet has I have no warning light on the dashboard.

Compliments the Ancel AD310 code reader superbly. Fits in very well with room to spare for some other odds bits and bobs. Excellent protection and very well made. Highly recommended.
