This unit is slightly cheaper than many leading brands but this doesn't seem to mean that they cut corners. Great build quality, stylish, and easy to install. Can be configured for ducted and ductless. A good purchase.

I was looking for a sleek, low-profile stove hood and this one fit the bill perfectly. It was a breeze to install, just put the two anchor screws in the wall and it pops right on and frees your hands so you can put the rest of the screws in place. Took me about 10 minutes to put up once I had the marks for the screws laid out.

Several reviews gave lower score regarding the additional range hood filter (5MU30). Before purchasing I sent to the Cosmo website to see if the recommended filter were the same that was recommended on Amazon. It was. Since I am unable to externally vent the range hood I wanted the additional charcoal filter. I did find that it took a little bit to get it in place, but it does fit snug and it wasn't so much trouble that it would deter me from changing it out every six months. The trick was to push down real hard right in the center once you have the little feet lined up with the holes. I did make marks on the outside of the filter with a red sharpie to help with lining up the feet. That is something that would be helpful if the manufacturer had already done that. Overall --very happy. Will purchase more filters.

I used to help remove flumes from glue used for installing quartz countertops. I was amazed at how well it worked to remove the overpowering flumes. It works well on food orders too.

First it said prime but best I could do was 4 days and paid extra but unit was already installed and really needed it since I had to recirculate. Used on liver and onions yesterday and is acceptable. I wanted to vent outside but had multiple issues so couldn’t. Outside venting is the way to go. The instructions for the filter failed to mention there is a cover over a wire that must come off on the Cosmos model we purchased. Otherwise, you will twist and turn and push to no avail. There was an arrow on the piece we saw causing the problem which gave us the confidence to get the screwdriver and firmly remove. Another reviewer said he had resorted to taping it but I knew my husband could figure it out. There were a few minutes of doubt and frustration. Clear instructions would have been so helpful. Just twisting as they say will never work.

Just bought the cosmo range hood filter. Arrived within a couple of days. Easy to install. No problems.

A frustrating experience. To the supplier credit they did authorize the return and eventually refunded the full amount including the cost of the return. A tremendous wasted time and effort.
