Definitely alive and kicking when they arrived.
Arrived on time and came with instructions that were easy to follow. Seems a bit expensive for what they are but I can't really comment as I don't know how much work and manhours go into creating these little creatures. I'm hoping for good results but with the heatwave I'm not sure what to expect as they are so lively and healthy and doing what they want.

A natural way to keep my tree pest free
I have to buy these annually to prevent the lime tree in my front garden dropping sticky sap on everything below. This is caused by aphids, but, luckily, ladybirds love to feast on them. So I hang a bag of larvae from a branch and let Mother Nature do the rest. One word of warning, ants love to feast on ladybird larvae, so running a sticky band around the tree trunk to catch as many of the blighters as possible is a must IMO.

Lovely little creatures
Out of 50 that I bought only one didn’t survive. But that’s ok.

Release bag not great
The release bag was not easy for the larvae to get out of and it got damp so most of them did not survive. I would not recommend using the bag, but the bugs do a better job than pesticide.

Poor
Didn’t work. No sign of any ladybirds.

Don’t use near ants!
The package arrived safely and I did what I was instructed, however because the aphids produce honeydew, the ants won’t leave them alone and they demolished the larvae. I don’t see how I can hang the bag with the larvae by the aphids but away from the ants. Maybe next time I’ll get the adult ladybirds. No problem with the product - it was well packaged and the larvae arrived safe and sound.
