Well-built and easy to build desk - my back is thanking me already!
Excellent desk, which is well built and easy to put together; it just needs a bit of patience and the right tools. For the price, this has been a great investment. The desk arrived very neatly packed and securely packaged. I'm enjoying the option to sit or stand - and the small version we have is plenty enough for a 21" screen (27" will be no problem), mice, keyboards, drinks etc. The build quality and instructions are very good. I agree with the other reviews that although the instructions looked complex, step-by-step they were easy to follow and the various screws and parts were very clearly labelled and packaged making them easy to find; at each step. The desk took less than an hour to build and that was taking my time finding the right tools. Noting the caution from other reviews, I was very careful with the last major step attached the table surface to the legs: I found that to get a good fit you need exactly the right tools including a very good power-screwdriver with lots of torque (our small one wasn't enough) as you only get one chance to bed in the screws to the underside of the top surface - with the right tools (not just ones that might work) - you can build this desk well and it is a solid build. There's a tiny bit of wobble when typing or writing hard - I sense this is due to the smaller size and the larger ones will wobble less. The ability to adjust is easy, turned it on and it worked straight away with a handy height counter; and the four memory options are great: two for adults, two for kids; sitting and standing. The headphone hooks on each end are very handy; and the cable management is an unexpected benefit. It sits solidly on our carpeted floor. My only minor gripe is the power cable could be more generous: long enough to plug into a wall directly behind the desk (even at full height) but not to a wall off to the side - for that it will need an extension cable. After a day of use, I am very grateful to be standing vs. many hours sitting and with a better view of the garden! I would buy again.

Standing desk; walnut effect
Excellent desk. I’m awaiting surgery and work hybrid and needed cost effective solution. I am unable to sit beyond 10-15 minutes without affecting mobility so a standing desk was the answer. Absolutely brilliant. Easy to put together - I did it myself. Worked perfectly. Easy to follow instructions. Height has fixed settings as well as manual up or down option to get to exact height needed. Love it. Best purchase. It has cable hold section, hooks for bags or equipment on sides. Is relatively robust - not planning on dancing on it but has all office equipment and I lean down on it regularly with no issues. No wobbling. No squeaking. I have two monitors, keyboard and mouse with wristlet and room for A4 landscape in front of keyboard so works well size wise - not too big; not too small. It is also aesthetically pleasing aka looks good. Definitely recommend for home office.

Amazing desk at an amazing price point!
This desk is amazing, especially for its price! It works exactly as advertised and even comes with high quality instructions for assembly printed in a glossy paper booklet which was a nice touch. The packaging was also excellent with everything neatly laid out for easy assembly. I got the 120×60 model and it fits 2x 24inch monitors and a 14.5 inch laptop with some angling! So if you have a similar setup and don't mind everything not sitting straight then you'll be fine! (See pics) Pros - - very sturdy and solid metal frame. It has a very reassuring weight to it! - very easy to assemble, I did it myself in under and hour and I wasnt rushing. (I am 6ft with long arms so that probably helped! - very quiet motor considering its small size and exposed nature. - gorgeous colour! Cons - The panel is a little thin however given the price point I can't see this being avoided, but it certainly does feel sturdy enough. - The motor is a little slow, but the manual does warn that continuous non stop usage can lead to overheating followed by a short period of inactivity to cool down, so with this in mind the speed is to be expected. - The surface comes in 2 panels which don't sit perfectly flush with each other and there is a slight bump on one side. This isn't visual but you can feel it when running your hand over. - The controls are great however there is no child lock feature which can be an issue for some. I simple switch it off at the wall when the kids are over but I do admit that it will quickly become a pain. All in all, I love this desk and for the cost, even at full retail, it is outstanding value. 5/5. Note - the cracking sound as the desk raises was it clipping against some papers on the side and not the motor! (In the video) Also, I added a cable management tray to this desk, it does not come with one.

Great desk with even better potential
Great bit of kit at a decent price. The desk top is in two parts that screw together and due to the thickness of the chipboard/laminate can warp in storage. Mine was a little warped and when screwed together with the headphones hooks and metal places still was not perfectly aligned - this is the only fault that detracts (half) a star. I didn't mind, as I purchased it for the legs and lifting mechanism, since I knew I'd be replacing the desktop with one that would match a fixed desk I wanted to build. For those considering the same idea, the lifting mechanism is quite strong. I replace the 1cm x 120cm x 50cm desktop it came with, with a 2.8cm x 120cm x 63cm kitchen worktop from IKEA (that I cut down), to make an "L" shaped desk that has a part that raises to standing. The programmable functions are great, the minimum hight is 72cm and the maximum is 118cm. The 4 buttons have preset lights but in my case I needed tp change them as my deal high had to be 74cm to be level with my other worktop. You can adjust any of the presets by setting the desired hight and pressing and holding the number you want to set at that high until it flashes "H#" (# being the number of the preset). For those interested in my setup (see pictures below), I purchased: 2 x JÄRSTORP worktops, one is full length at 256cm and the other cut to 120cm. (I also picked up a bracket to hold one end up. 2 x Alex units, without the casters these are just a little too low so you'll either need to shim the worktop up to meet the minimum height of the standing desk, or add some feet, I added 3cm feet to mine I had spare for a unit I dismantled.

Good sturdy desk
Easy to build, sturdy to use and good price. I don't notice the seam in the desk top since I use a large mouse mat. Motor works fine and fit into the space as needed.

A great office desk
This desk is brilliant..everyone who's seen it wants one. 4 set positions but also allows full manual up and down to suit exactly. Chair has arms but now slides under easily with just a trim up. Easy to assemble, clear instructions and even a small selection of bits in a bag marked spares..that I didn't need. Ive only had it a few days but it reckons tested so hopefully the actuator will last reliably..but has a warranty. Definitely recommend this desk.

Quality desk, smooth quiet operation very sturdy excellent build instructions the top is in two pieces and doesn’t quite fit together with the precision of ikea but doesn’t detract from the incredible value love it

A great desk for the price
This review is from a recent purchase (therefore can’t speak on its performance over time), so appreciate it won’t tell you what this desk is like in a years time. I have wanted a electric stand up desk for a long time, as someone that works from home a lot, I’ve had a horrible B&M desk since the start of covid and wanted to finally upgrade. I did a lot of research, through eBay, Amazon, IKEA and such and decided to bite the bullet on this desk. I wish I could have gotten a larger desk, sadly my space didn’t allow bigger than what I have, my monitor hangs off the back (just like my old desk). However it’s still a good size and made a big difference to my old desk. I built the desk myself, all you need is the Allen keys it comes with and a Philips screwdriver. It was pretty easy to build and put into place myself. The screws and pre drilled holes all lined up perfectly and I had no issues at all with the build quality. The wood is obviously not a solid piece, it’s two pieces that are stuck together, it seemed flimsy but once it’s attached to the legs there are no concerns at all. This does mean you see a line across the middle where it’s been put together, not an issue if you’ve desk mat or if you don’t care. Personally the feel of the wood isn’t nice, it’s a porous/scratchy cheap/artificial feeling material, for the price this is what you expect, a good desk mat will fix this issue if it bothers you or even a vinyl wrap. The memory and control to adjust the desk is simple to use and has so far worked perfectly, really pleasant to use and I’ve enjoyed being to adjust the height and stand up where I’ve wanted to. The motor is very smooth and goes up and down with ease, it does have a whine of course but not something that’d bother you. I just hope it lasts continuous use. I have made a video of it going up and down to show, albeit my set up needs a lot of work to look nicer. It was making a clicking as it went down on the video, this hasn’t occurred since then, so not sure what that was about. The desk price was £130, with £30 off if I had Prime. For that price all the nitpicks I’ve mentioned are expected and not really issues. Of course you could pay 5x the price at IKEA. But I couldn’t justify the cost for that but can for this.

Excellent and quiet
My new Desk just came in today and while it took me almost an hour to assemble this was due to my bad eyesight so I had to take my time. I can have everything I need on the desk including my printer, router, laptop and cooling pad. The motor is very quiet and I found very little wobble when the desk was at it's highest level. I also found the speed to be quick. The instructions are precise and easy to follow and everything is coded so that you use the proper screws. You will need a Philips head screwdriver which isn't included for some of the assembly process. The only thing that I wish came with it is a cup holder. All in all I highly recommend this product but would suggest that you have someone help you assemble it as it will be quicker.

Use easy build hard
Oh my god the screws are so bad ! Almost impossible to make a clean build without an electronic screwdriver. Anyways I damaged them all in the process so it will be a single use table. I don’t recommend.

Great desk with lots of space
Very nice looking desk with plenty of space. It was easy to assemble in less than 45 minutes. My only complaint is that it moves more than my old desk when in the elevated position but overall I'm very happy with it.
