Arrow 1851 Men's Dress Shirts Regular Fit Solid Poplin

Good shirt, nicely finished for for the price. I like a heavy cloth shirt and I had some reservations about buying a poplin shirt because they typically feel light weight (thin). That was not the case with this shirt. While it won't be confused with heavy brocade or cotton, it does have a sturdy feel that I am very comfortable in. I bought two shirts (one black and one gray) and other than color, they are exactly the same (and will share this review). The collars are reinforced with a (non-removable) collar stay, the button holes are void of loose threads and the buttons are firmly attached. Overall I expect to enjoy these shirts as everyday office wear and will likely order more to replace older shirts as needed. I give it a five star because it actually exceeded my expectations at a bargain price.

As a tall guy who usually wears a 16 collar and 37 sleeve, Arrow has usually been the only brand that will always have shirts in my size. This one was no different, I wore it to a wedding and it stood up to multiple hours of movement (granted, I was wearing shirt stays) but was fantastic nonetheless. The price was right and I would definitely buy again.

I bought this for my husband. It's a very nice shirt, but the white is a tiny bit see through. Not a big deal since he is wearing something over it, but I just thought I'd point it out. The material is not as smooth as I'd like, but that's because I'm comparing it to his much more expensive all cotton shirt.Despite this, it's a very nice shirt and we are happy with the price we paid. This is far better than dropping 80 dollars in a store when you only need the shirt for those rare, special occasions.Overall, it's a good buy and is true to size!

I am a big fan of this shirt. It is very comfortable, durable and pretty much wrinkle free. The white is really white. Very clean looking. Works great with a suit. I get it professionally cleaned with no starch needed. Stands up well to folding and a quick shower steam when traveling. Very good deal. I have ten of them.

I ordered this shirt for my husband who had a shirt close to this color and it was wearing thin at the cuffs(it probably is his favorite!) Excellent quality, fit well and although is not the exact color of his other one, was very close and he liked it!

I bought this shirt for my dad, and he loves it. It fits beautifully and looks sharp. He's especially happy that the sleeves are the correct length because he has long arms and often has a hard time finding sleeves that fit. This is an excellent purchase, and I'll probably be buying more.

I’m disappointed in these shirts - I bought 3 of them. If you take these shirts out of the washer and dryer immediately and hang them up right away they *almost* don’t need to be ironed. Of course in practice that unless you don’t mind the wrinkled look you *will* have to iron them. I have an older Arrow 1851 shirt that Is also 65% polyester and 35% cotton that never needs ironing. I have probably washed and worn it about 100 times and it still looks great. I’d buy 15 more of them if I could because while these new shirts are hanging in the laundry room waiting for me to get around to ironing them the older shirt will be hanging in my closet ready to wear. I don’t know why it is so hard to find shirts like that - it is the good look and easy care that most guys want.

Arrow is a consistent and long established company. I bought the regular fit shirt which I need for the shoulders, so the waist was a little loose. But can't beat the $25 price. Can't wear slim, and a good custom shirt would be at least $200.
