ECO SOUL 9 Inch Disposable Bagasse Paper Plates (1000 Pack, Round)

Very sturdy and stiff. No plate holder needed. I haven't used for very wet foods, so I can't say about that. A bit more expensive than regular paper plates. Can go into landcape compost, not a lot of toxins. If they do end up in a landfill, they will turn into dirt, not sit there forever. Regular paper plates will decompose, but they are flimsy, and materials unsafe for compost. Plastic covered paper plates don't decompose well and not safe for compost.

Sturdy , perfect for a slice of cake

These plates are amazing. They are super thick, sturdy, and stable enough to hold greasy foods without the soak through. On top of that, they are compostable and break down within 90 days. That's however many plates you order less in a landfill. Will be purchasing again.

These are not quite heavy duty. They might be good for hamburgers and hot dogs, but expect to double up if you are serving BBQ, pasta, or other heavier foods.

One should buy these for salads or breakfast serving with one item only. Good quality. Eco friendly. My purpose was to keep bowls along with chapati/roti in it, for that it was too small. Mistake was on my side.
