I have had a Talalay latex mattress since 2000 and LOVE IT! They last forever, they are cool, supportive, extremely comfortable. I've wanted a matching pillow, but to order from the mattress company was very expensive due to shipping. When I ran across some Talalay pillows on Amazon, I really looked through them. Some of them were a lot pricer, but I couldn't find any real difference! So I ordered this one and I'm very happy. I was very surprised at how light weight it is. After years of down, cooling memory foam, etc. this is lighter than all of them. Maybe not surprising because it has holes going all the way through (like the mattress). I was really curious how cool it would be and I've been really happy! I live in upcountryMaui where I don't have air conditioning. Sept - Oct are our warmest (and humid) months. This pillow is just a touch warmer where my head has been than on the side where it wasn't. I don't keep moving it around to find a cool spot. I ordered the high loft and am really glad I did! It isn't as high as any of my previous pillows! How flat must "low" be? I like it though. And it is softer than I expected. Our Talalay latex mattress is firm, but softly supportive (doesn't make sense, but that's it!). This pillow is soft. It doesn't depress as far as a down pillow, but is supportively soft. It wasn't firm enough for my husband who tends to stack, bend, move around his pillows. I ordered the queen size and somehow it seems a touch small. I haven't measured it, but it fits somewhat loosely in the queen size pillow cases. Bottom line: lightweight, supportive, soft, and cool!

I love this pillow. Soft but supportive. Just wish it was a little bit taller, as I end up pulling my head into a weird angle with how short it is and sometimes wake up with neck pain.

I have tried sooooo many pillows. I hate pillows that require fluffing, scrunching, or lumpiness, preferring consistent smooth comfort that I can count on to cradle my head while keeping my neck stable. My tender-head needs a soft plush material, but my neck needs a lower profile with good support. This zoned pillow has the good loft and softness in all the right places for me as a true combination sleeper. I’ve had the pillow almost a week and get slightly achey on my neck when I’m on my back, and on my side, sometimes I get achey shoulders (hence why I said it is practically perfect). On my stomach, though, I sleep very comfortably. That’s not the position I use the most, however, so I’m hoping it softens just a bit and becomes a little less firm over time so my back-sleeping will improve, but am pleased for now. I’ll take a break on searching for the perfect pillow for a while. My stomach sleeping daughter really likes this pillow, so I got her one too. This pillow performs well and doesn’t get hot or make me sweat as other pillows have. The queen size is better than a standard size pillow since I have room to roll on my back, stomach, and side throughout the night.

I have tried just about every pillow there is trying to find one that is comfortable and doesn't cause me to wake up with neck and shoulder pain. Finally I found that latex seems to be the best for both comfort and support. It provides constant even support and doesn't continue to compress all night so that you wake up in a flat spot. It is wonderful. However the first one I tried was a bit too hight loft for me, about 6 inches thick. So I then ordered what was supposed to be a 4.5 inch loft from another company and they sent pillows that were barely 3 inches thick, so those got returned. I tried another that had a terribly strong smell. They all have some odor to them that needs to air out, but some are worse than others. So eventually I saw this one and thought I'd give it a try. Thank goodness I did. It is perfect. The queen low profile is between 4.5-5 inches thick. So comfortable I can't even find the words. It does have a slight smell as they do, but nothing that won't air out fairly quickly. I put mine in the dryer on air fluff to help get rid of the smell. Don't use heat. I will say it is a bit difficult with the latex to find different lofts. And sometimes they don't turn out to be the loft that was advertised. I got lucky with this one. The only very minor complaint I have is that this pillow doesn't come with the inner liner and a nice soft outer cover like a lot of them do. It only has the one cotton cover. I like to have the extra protection for the pillow. Luckily I had other covers that fit. I highly recommend if you need more of an in between loft. I am a side and back sleeper with a small frame. Finally comfortable! 👍🏻👍🏻

I have had the "Queen High Profile 100% Talalay Latex Pillow Extra Soft" for 2 months. I didn't know if I'd like it because I've always had feather and down pillows. Well....I can't believe how much I LOVE this pillow!!! It's soft yet supportive and bounces right back instead of flattening like feather/down. The MOST amazing thing is how cool this pillow is! I am a VERY hot sleeper - no matter how "cooling" something claims to be I still sweat. I am thrilled that this pillow is actually, truly, cool! The price is great too - about half of what other companies charge. I just ordered a second one and I'm giving my old pillows away. Don't hesitate to get this pillow at this great price! I want to give this pillow 5 stars. I looked a long time for an adjustable, 100% Latex pillow. Besides the plate in my neck and implanted dorsal spinal stimulator to control my back pain, I had my 2nd rotator cuff surgery in 5 months on my right arm. Besides it re-tearing the cuff in 2 places, the joint separated. The survery was hard and recovery has been very difficult. I thought that an adjustable pillow would help the pain quite a bit. Most contain shredded Memory foam, like in My Pillow, which compacts down and is hot. I prefer talalay latex pillows, so I searched for a 100% talalay latex adjustable pillow. I was very happy to find this one. The smell was overwhelming when I opened the plastic containing the pillow. I know there will be a bit of out-gassing from the rubber. I've never smelled such a strong smell from talalay. Well, it's been 4+ months, and the smell is still overwhelming. I'm not chemically sensitive and I'm not overly sensitive to smells. The pillow simply stinks. I've given it long enough to air out before writing this review. I have to warn people. The rubber used cannot be talalay, not with this continued smell.

I liked the pillow ok, at first, but time told the ugly truth. I ordered a queen with high loft but got a standard size with a medium loft. This pillow sinks in a little too much for me. I will say this I had two queen size Talalay, Latex pillows for 13 years. I would not have traded them for anything but they began to shed inside the pillowcases. Getting another like those is nearly impossible now. Bought and delivered 1/10/24 and today is 2/22/24, Ok too late to send back. The pillow is flat as a fritter. Bought a x-firm pillow from Walmart for 3.00 the other day, perfect for now. Until this and other companies quit saving their latex by having so many unfilled holes in the pillow I won't be spending 55.00 on their merchandise again.

I've used this type pillow my whole adult life. Lasts forever w/o degrading. Wanted a 2nd pillow so I bought this. It's to die for!!. My last relative went into hospice, so I gave him this pillow. After I did, I couldn't sleep right until I got the new one. I'm flummoxed as to why Amazon lists it as"returned often." High quality. Considering how many years it lasts, it's a great value for the money.
