I've had this for 1 week but I've been putting it thru it's paces. It makes ice quickly. It does have to be babysat to put cubes into freezer as they come out. It works for what I need. Small, light and will work great in our camper too.

I purchased a $179 icemaker from a different Amazon vendor about a year ago and what I got was a heavy, loud, complicated machine full of valves that clogged, 4 buttons for controls that needed pushing 3-4 times to do anything, that only after 2 months quit making ice entirely. Even when it did make ice, the ice was of a shape nobody in the house liked, and it was thin and melted easily. i worked with the manufacturer for over a week trying to get it working again- they were responsive but even they had no idea why it quit. Fast forward to this amazing ice machine..only one power button that works perfectly, no hoses, valves or removable water buckets etc- just pour clean water into it, turn it on, and 8 minutes later have ice! This machine is much smaller, MUCH less complicated, MUCHquieter, etc and it makes just as much ice as the old one did with zero input but "add water, turn it on" No wonder my old one got discontinued!! This machine is WAY ahead of it design-and-function wise! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 5 STARS

Wish we would've bought it sooner. Very useful and easy to use. The ice you can chew on or make drinks with. What a great color too. Very affordable and fits in our small kitchen. Makes ice quickly. And easy to clean.

Decent ice maker. Functions as stated, makes consistent ice, no issues with speed so far. Ice basket does sit low, almost to the water basin. Doesn’t stay cold enough inside for the ice to stay frozen - it will slowly melt back into the water basin over time, so if you want it to keep making ice and the ice to stay cold you have to dump it into a freezer bin.

It's been running 24/7 since the day I got it about four months ago. No problems at all. It fills my 20oz thermal mug with a little to spare and recovers quickly. But if you're looking to fill a cooler this isn't for you. It cycles about every hour to hour and a half as the ice melts back to the reservoir. And runs for just a few minutes. it sits in my solar shed where I work often and always has ice ready for me. It is a little power hungry when its running. I make my own power so I don't really notice. I only noticed the current load when I first started it up. Don't know how that compares to other models and might be worth looking at the specs closer if its important to you. But for me, I give it two thumbs up!

Very easy to use, and it makes a lot of ice in a short time. The first few batches it makes won’t be great while the cooling system chills, so let them stay and melt back into the water. After that they’re perfect! Don’t let the cubes sit too long as this thing isn’t a freezer; put them into your own freezer after every couple of cycles. They’ll be a little wet and will want to clump together, so be sure to shake them around in your container every time you add cubes. An ice pick is highly recommended. It’s quiet enough that we often forget it’s running, at least until we hear it dump a fresh batch of ice into the tray. We use it regularly and it’s always worked well. Highly recommended!

We have had this ice machine for just under two years. Bought after our fridge ice machine quit working (and needed several hundred $ to repair). First set of cubes always melt a bit too much as the unit gets cold but within an hour would have a full basket. Takes about 9min per cycle to put out 9 ice cubes. Not super fast but we would run it on the weekends and fill bags for the freezer. First year was great - cleaned it after use (sometimes a use was over a few days) but did notice the plug getting moldy. Soaked it in white vinegar and it helped. Now we can’t get the plug clean. And in the last year we have noticed sediment of some type in the water after even one cycle of making ice cubes. Opened up the machine and found it grimy. No mention of needing to do this in the manual. Had to unscrew the top to get to the area that makes the cubes. It’s not worth the effort and work to clean it and use electricity to power it. Will go back to buying bags of ice from the grocery store.

Mine still works about 3 years later.. We do clean it fairly often. It looks great, still popping out nice soft cold ice. The noise isn’t too bad, you can hear when ice drops but besides that its fine. I do wish it would create more ice, the bucket is a little small. Plus due to the mechanism keeping it from overfilling sometimes the ice will be barely above the line and it wont be making more, so you only get a few melted pieces.. however this works fine for my husband and I. I liked it so much we bought another for my Sis and her husband. Overall, good product.

The machine never worked. The return process was painful. Seller was not willing to engage and didn’t take any responsibility for the quality of the product. Amazon stepped up and kept us whole.

Easy to work and so far reliable. Have been using for over a month and the whole family is very happy with this purchase. Good quality and not loud,only when filling water and the ice drops and its only a few moments each time.

It's nice and small, very sleek, used it 5 times already, makes ice in a decent amount of time. I love it and will have it for years. I have a family of 4, we make ice coffees, I run it about 3 times a week to keep a supply inthe freezer. I was surprised that the ice can last in the bucket for an hour 2 before I transfer it.

A little noisy, but overall very quick and the ice is a nice little shape. It's practical, and I'm glad I purchased it.

Purchased July 11th 25. It worked great until April 28th 26, so less than a year and it stopped freezing the ice. Of course I used Britta water in the machine and cleaned regularly. It was a great gadget to have and will be purchasing another after reading reviews on other machines to decide if I buy again or get another manufacturer. Is difficult to clean every angle, even with pipe/ straw cleaners.
