Highly recommend if you’re fighting frizz!!
I live in NC, where the humidity gets CRAZY during the Summer. I have chin length, fine, thin hair that develops a bizarre wave/curl pattern in humid conditions. I tend to blow dry it straight, which works well until I step outside; within 2 minutes my ends start to curl and it transforms into a frizzy mess. I’d basically given up on my Summer frizz until I found out you could do keratin treatments at home. I hadn’t considered them before because my salon charges almost $400 for the service—just not in my budget. After doing some research I decided to give Keragen a try, and I’m so glad I did! I’m totally blown away by the results! My hair stays smooth and glossy even in 90% humidity!! A caveat is that I do still have to blow dry to achieve that smooth and glossy effect. If I let my hair air dry it’s definitely less frizzy than it would be without the treatment, but not so much that I’d wear it down that way. Still, for me it’s a total win. This was my process: -I washed my hair twice with ouia clarifying shampoo, then brushed it out thoroughly (which was a pain) -I let my hair air dry about 75%, then brushed again and applied the mixture. I sectioned my hair by putting it all in a clip on top of my head, then removing layers beginning at the bottom of my head—the same way I would blow dry—and brushed the product through my hair to make sure the hair was well coated. I probably did about 6 sections/layers, which worked well for my fine, short hair, but also for my daughter’s long, thick hair. -Because my hair is fine and thin, I only left the product on for about 25 minutes, combing through my hair every 10. My daughter’s long, thick hair took the entire 60 minutes. -I thoroughly rinsed my hair with warm water, then applied a generous amount of k18 leave in conditioner. -I let my hair air dry most of the way, again, then applied a heat protectant-styling product, and blow dried my hair on high heat with my brush-dryer -I then heated a flat iron to 400* for my hair, closer to 450* for my daughter, and flat ironed sections 10 times each to seal in the treatment. -I waited 48 hours before washing again. So far, it’s a week later and my hair is still humidity proof and frizz free!! The entire process took less than an hour, and again, I’m blown away by the results. For my short hair there are at least 5 uses worth of product, although for my daughter’s 14” long hair it’s probably closer to 2. Still, this is such a bargain when compared with salon treatments. Just be sure to apply it and straighten it in a WELL VENTILATED AREA. While this product doesn’t contain formaldehyde, there are still some serious chemicals in this stuff! I highly recommend, and hope this way too long review is helpful!

Natural waves not straight hair!
Is good if you want to relax curls as it does not straighten your hair fully (I’ve used just once) I really like it the result looks natural and my hair is not damaged. The process is also easier than other keratin treatments as you have to iron it after rinse it out before.

No me gusta, no se notan casi los resultados para el precio que tiene
No es lo que esperaba, no lo volvería a comprar

Expensive and time consuming for results that last 1 wash
TLDR: Followed directions exactly, results didn't last one wash. I used this on my regrowth, I have about 15cm where my hair has grown out from my last keratin treatment. My hair is a mix of curls and waves, it's dry and prone to frizz. Most smoothing treatments remove my waves and soften my curls from a 3B to a 2A. There's not a lot of information about this brand, especially on hair forums, which is unusual considering the amount of Amazon reviews it has. I found some video reviews, but most of them didn't tell me how it holds up after the first wash. I purchased it on the basis that it's formaldehyde free. I find it strange that you need to straighten your hair using 10+ passes per section after it's rinsed out, I'm not clear on why this would be of any benefit with no product left in your hair. I wanted this to work, so I still followed the instructions, but all this achieved was breakage and most likely a whole heap of heat damage. My hair felt smooth and silky the day I did the treatment, however after first wash my hair has gone back to normal. Considering it takes so long and costs $89, you might as well use a regular keratin treatment.

Good
I am very satisfied with this keratin treatment. It leaves the hair much softer, more manageable and with a very beautiful shine. It also helps a lot to control frizz and make the hair look smoother and more cared for. The application was simple following the instructions and I really liked the result. I would definitely buy it again. 💕✨
