My car threw a code (you know, the old "check engine" light cane on). My scanner showed that the fuel pressure sensor was not sending a signal. I ordered this fuel pressure sensor unit. It was delivered quickly and it fit perfectly. I cleared the code and test drove the car. It ran perfectly with no lights coming back on. I would advise anyone who owns a car to buy a simple scanner. The one that I have costs less that $80. That is half what a dealership will charge you just to hook up their scanner to your car. These small scanners will give you a general idea of what is going on with your car. Even if you don't repair it yourself, you will know what the general problem is and keep yourself from being ripped off. They are easy to use and read. You can find what the codes mean on any search engine. Easier to work that a cell phone.

Factory fit for my 05 volvo xc70. Worth the money as it immediately fixed a fuel pressure issue with the engine studdering at cruising speeds. Came packaged well. Old bosch sensor lasted 21 years and 222000 miles this one was worth every penny.

My 2004 Volvo V70 Turbo was showing a fuel pressure code with a simple code reader. The Volvo specialist wanted $500 to replace the fuel pump. I bought myself a better code reader which indicated a faulty fuel pressure switch. I bought this part, watched a video on YouTube, and in 5 minutes I swapped out the old part and the code went away. Took me much longer to watch the video and get out my tools than it took to replace the part. It seems like it is a genuine Bosch part. The box was a bit worn. The part was new. We'll see how long it lasts, but if I have to replace it in a year, I'm still ahead.

Perfect fitment on a 2008 Volvo XC-90, but I had to order a tiny little low profile ratchet wrench with the right size bit to get the screw out. There's no room to turn a regular Torx screwdriver and I'm sure the auto shop would have just charged me an extra $300 of labor for removing a few other parts out of the way. Neither the auto-parts store, nor the hardware store has anything like the tool I got here on Amazon, so just find one of those tools on here and buy this part from here too. I got the replacement done in 30 minutes and my check engine light went away and I passed inspection.

My 2005 Volvo S80 AWD Turbo was experiencing what felt like a 2 second long dead or unresponsive acceleration at highway speeds. It would vary and seemed to worse during weather/temperature changes. I read MatthewsVolvo Forum and found lots of guidance to replace this sensor for the symptoms mine was having. Researched on Amazon, replaced in 5 minutes (T25 screw, rag, vent schrader first) and problem was solved. It's been several weeks and the issue i was having with every drive is gone. Problem resolved and cost much lower than OE. I hope it lasts as this is supposed to be a common failure point for the my Volvo - according to the forums.

Was getting codes for fuel pressure, occasional bucking and hesitating. Ordered this, took 5 minutes to swap and the problems were gone. Really easy install on the 2.5 liter 5 cylinder turbo. Just one screw and one clip to undo.

Had the error code for a fuel rail pressure sensor. Pulled the old one out and the Bosch number matched this one. It's a bit hard to take the torx screw holding it in, so watch some YouTube videos about that. Once in and running the check engine light was still on. Disconnected the battery for ten minutes so the computer can clear. Plugged it back in and started it up and the code was cleared and no more check engine light. Very satisfied!

((DISCLAIMER - I AM JUST A REGULAR GUY, DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, YOUR SITUATION IS MOST LIKELY DIFFERENT THAN MINE, I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL))I have a volvo S80 from 2007 that runs on gas. It gave off the yellow "check engine light". Fault code reader said it was the fuel rail sensor. P0190 code error. Called an authorized volvo mechanic shop. They wanted 200 Euro for parts cost and then another 300-400 euro to do the job.Needless to say, I ordered this part for 60 euro ( it doesn't have the volvo number or logo but otherwise it looks identical) and the synthetic lube for the o-ring (must have) for another 20 euro. In my car it was Important to lower the pressure first in the fuel rail before I made the switch. I also let the car sit for 24h beforehand so it doesn't have hot fuel inside of it before I made the switch. Rags and papertowels were also needed underneath the sensor because alot of fuel leaked out from the fuel rail.I just prepared all the tools, ran the car and quickly removed the fuel pump fuse (on my car it was on the passenger side ), car manual said where it was located. Car died of course, I removed the car key and then I made the switch, fuel came out, rags caught most of it. Cleaned up and I Put everything back together, including the fuse, reset the fault code with the fault code reader and then I was done.Tip: The screw for the sensor was in a really tight space for me, I put electrical tape on a T25 bit and then on a 1/4 inch wrench with some more electrical tape so that I could reach the screw.Synthetic lube that i ordered from amazon ( has to be synthetic, cannot be petroleum based) :Super Lube 21030 Synthetic Grease (NLGI 2), 3oz Tube of Super Lube
