Used 3 times and the vinyl coating started peeling off, and this rope tangles really easy. Definitely not worth my hard earned money!!

I hate writing bad reviews, but I feel obligated as my experience contradicts many other reviews I saw. I really wanted to like this rope.Pros: I like the color of the rope. I like that it's divided into sections. It is doing the job it should be while we are using it. There is little to no give, so its perfect for kneeboarding. We upgraded ropes after the one we have had essentially disintegrated and we are grateful for the "newness" of the rope.Cons: the handle is incredibly uncomfortable. We used it for about a month hoping we would break it in, but it seems to be getting worse. The rope does not float. It came with little floatation pieces on the rope, but those fall off in the water so easily while we are using it, so we just have to be more diligent about retrieving the rope after a wipeout. At least the handle floats. This part wouldn't be a big deal if the handle wasnt so awful to grip on to. I can also see how very soon the black tape above the handle will soon be worn off only after about a month of use.I wish I could return it just because of the handle, but due to the (now) missing floatation pieces and the wear of the rope, I doubt they would take it.

This was the cheapest line set I could find. I didn't need any $200 setup, just something better than the standard ski rope we've been using. What a difference, we pull up out of the water faster, and the line makes you feel way more connected to the boat than the stretchy ski rope did. Great purchase, time will tell how it holds up.

This is a good looking product that flexes very little resulting in an exceptional pull into jumps. Handle is terrific. Note, take care of it. The plastic casing around cable can be cut accidentally. It comes with bag to make it easy to keep in good shape.

I have had a ski/wakeboard boat for the last 30 years. Originally I always used the standard inexpensive braided nylon ski ropes. I few years ago my son bought a similar non-stretch ski rope for wakeboarding. The special thing about this type of rope is that it doesn't stretch. The rope is made out of the same material that commercial fishing nets are made of. Those net have to be able to hold up to tons of pressure from being towed in the oceans with a load of fish. That may sound like it is not a big deal, but you can't understand how much of a difference this type of rope makes to a skier until you use one. Braided nylon ropes stretch when the power from the boat is put on the rope with the weight of the skier in the water. The skier will feel the pull of the boat, but until the nylon rope has stretched out the skier will not be accelerated to be able to stand up. This means the skier has to take the pressure of the boat for a longer time before they can get up. Getting out of the water when being pulled with this type of rope is faster and less fatiguing for the skier.
