Thermo Stopper Pico de Mate Replacement Part For Stanley Classic Vacuum Insulated Wide Mouth Bottle Thermos (1.1QT, 1.5QT, 2QT) (2, Black-Red)

I bought this for use with yerba mate and this works perfectly for that purpose. Opening and closing the spout is easy enough and the spout swivels within the cap for directional aim and will stay put once you do. This is perfect for yerba mate consumption or likely any other task you may have for it. It is not designed for gas exchange so expect the occasional "burp" to let in or out air when pouring. The cap appears study and I expect several years of unfettered mate use to come. At this point, it is highly recommend for the right thermos. The cap appears durable and likely to aid the retention of temperature like the regular cap. The appearance matches the cap that came with the thermos with the exception of foldable spout. Highly recommended!

Even though it's not listed on the product description, this Pico de Mate fits the 20 OZ Classic Legendary Bottle perfectly. No more spilling or having to have a napkin or paper towel to wipe the mess from the original lid. Great for in the car mate time.

Gets the job done! For my Yerba mate. Very happy with this considering the poor purchase I made on another similar product that has a big design flaw. Get this one! Seems like they also fixed the color, as it seems like it matches the green of the Stanley better than some pictures I’ve seen in reviews…go with this one.

First of all, this fits perfectly with my 1.1 qt thermo. The pour is not bad, but you have to use your muscles a little bit to open and close the spout. It’s almost like you need to spray some oil to loosen the up-and-down motion haha. What concerns me is the horrible, strong plastic chemical odor that appears when hot/warm steam comes into contact with it. When I put hot/warm water in, the steam touches the lid, and when you remove the lid, it has a plastic chemical smell from the steam warming it, which is really unpleasant and quite concerning. I like the idea of this stopper, but the chemical odor is disturbing. I tested it with both the original Stanley lid and this one, and the Stanley lid does not emit this noxious chemical odor, however this one does. I end up returning it. Everyone’s experience is different but the hot chemical smell it projects is concerning.

This cap is a perfect fit for my Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle. I ordered the green one and it matches the handle, which looks great. The cap has two parts you can remove the top parts for "normal pouring". Otherwise, just lift the spout to use as intended. The spout rotates freely. One thing I noticed that others point out is that the pour isn't smooth. It kind of spurts or spits out water. It's not a huge deal but it isn't great either. I noticed a decrease in heat retention compared to the factory cap but I'm still able to enjoy my mate way before the water runs cold. It's not a significant difference in heat retention. For those who purchase the Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle, the factory cap can be loosened a few turns and you can pour perfectly into your mate. No need to remove the cap entirely. To be honest you don't really need this lid.

Thread is too big on this, it makes scratches on the bottle when you screw it in.

Tuve una demora en el envío, pero finalmente llegó. El tapón está bien, cumple con lo que dice, no lo califico mejor por su precio, no vale tanto como lo pagué.
