Will the lg/xl fit someone with a 7 1/2 hat size?

Yes I wear a 7 7/8 fitted and its a bit small but not by much so I would think it would fit perfect. However it is a low profile style hat

What are the measurements of the diameter of the skull in cm of each size?

Sorry I can't help you with that .... It was a gift !
