We had Cooke & Lewis soft close hinges on our kitchen cupboards and these have worked well for a number of years. They needed replacing and I saw these hinges (8pcs for £27, a bargain). I took 8 pcs to read 8 pairs of hinges. 8 pcs meant 4 pairs of hinges, silly of me I know. However, the hinges are superb and fit straight into the existing holes. I have to buy some more as I don't have enough but they are very good hinges. Highly recommended.

Blum-ing marvellous. Blum are the best out there, the Blumotion soft close is fab. As others have mentioned, the slot in the fixing (to the cupboard carcass) is not big enough for the old fat stubby screws (called system screws) but you can open it out by putting a 5.0mm, then a 5.5mm drill through the bracket slots. Make sure you have it well clamped down as it will snag. Do try holding it in your hand. The rebate for door part is also very tight so make sure there is no paint in there. Again, you can run a chisel around the side and bottom to make it a perfect fit. Take 5 minutes to prep max, well worth it.

Slowly working through the house replacing hinges with soft close. One of the hinge mounting plates turned up with no screws. Thankfully I had an old mounting plate of a similar type which sufficed. I now need to consider whether to use this source for my next batch (I don’t have any spare mounting plates so will need a full complement of screws). The actual hinges seem good though. Easy to fit and adjust.

These hinges slipped straight into the holes of the previous hinges and worked straight away. The 110 has an integral soft closing mechanism so no need for the additional piece of kit which piggybacks on top of the 100s. They also appear to allow an extra 10degrees opening to the cupboard door. Small, but possible important depending on the position of the cupboard. Very good product.

As others have mentioned, the door fitting is fine but the cabinet fitted part does not allow the thick chipboard screws to be used as the bracket holes are too small. You cannot easily use normal screws as the hole in the door is too wide and deep so you would have to fill it and redrill. I’m not clear why these are sold for the UK market if the standard chipboard screws don’t fit. The bracket looks as if it is made for thick chipboard screws but they just don’t fit.

These Blum hinges work exactly as expected. I used them to replace the clips on a door that had been converted from a built-in fridge to a closet, and they fit perfectly. The soft-close mechanism is smooth and quiet, adding a premium feel to the door. Installation was straightforward, and the quality is consistent with what you'd expect from Blum. No complaints whatsoever – a solid choice for anyone doing custom cabinetry or replacements.

Conforme à la description. J'ai trouvé ses charnières pour remplacer 2 d'une de mes porte de cuisine. Exactement similaire avec amortisseurs. Fournie avec les vis. Emballage parfait.
