This has very similar ingredients to the Periogen product, also sold on Amazon. Any one here used both to compare efficacy?

The Periogen is much finer and dissolves in water better. They seem to work the same.

Can this be used with bridges or dentures?

Absolutely it can be used on bridges, dentures, orthodontia and implants. It is excellent for keeping tartar off all dental work.

Is this product sodium-lauryl-sulfate-free ?

Hello.. The ingredients as listed on the bottle are: tetrepotassium pyrophosate, sodium tripolyphosate, sodium bicarbonite, citric acid, sodium flouride o.4 %. I can tell you it is a wonderful product. I have the most annoying hard tarter that seems to form overnight. As long as I use this in my waterpik and once in a while I use some dry on my toothbrush, it will keep my teeth tarter free. I do notice if I don't use it for a week or so(was on a vacation and did not take it with me), the tarter builds back up, but now that I have used it for about 10 months I have little to no tarter. As long as you are not opposed to any of the ingredients I really think you will like it. I will add that I am a 65 year old female with the normal condition of aging teeth. (I think this is helpful in reviews).

Does it work on really hard tartar?

No! I would ask instead, does "snake oil" work on really hard tartar. No, again....
