Customer service helped with issue
The pump quit working after a few months. Biopaws shipped a replacement quickly.

Don't buy this pump!
I bought this pump june 9th 2023. Used it until the first week of September. Then used it from may 25th 2024 to the first week of September 2024. As of June the 12th of this year it worked a week and has stopped working. Thats not enough usage for the price. Especially since I only run it 7 hours at night each day. Do not buy

Briopaws 2HP pump leaked as soon as I turned it on.
it had a heavy leak from the rear, from the beginning.

Updated Review
Spent a day installing the pump. Hooked everything up perfectly and turned it on, only to see water squirting out of the sides of it. Update: Briopaws reached out to me and suggested that I go around the housing tightening all the bolts. I did this and found 2 bolts that weren't as tight as the should be. After tightening them, I turned the pump on and the leaks were gone. The pump has great power. My old 1 HP pump had trouble priming, but not this one. Moving lots of water. It's a bit louder than my old pump but it's twice the power and water flow. Briopaws has written me several times and I'm impressed with their customer service.

9 months later ....not happy ... a few months later it's done
Not quite happy. Expected this pump to last longer, I guess you get what you paid for. 9 months later started leaking everywhere. Adjusted all the bolts around the pump body and it's leaking from the mechanical seal. Not buying again And after a year an a half... dead. I need a new pump

Not truly 2 hp won't push over 20 psi pressure
Not even good to replace a 1.5 hp of a Hayward pump. Be careful because you will need to re pipe a d when you replace after realizing it's junk,(made in China), you'll have to re pipe again.
