Got tired of swapping cables for each car so thought I'd try this, it works well but can be a little stiff to unplug from the cable but it's a fair price to pay.

I bought this Type 2 to Type 1 EV charging cable adapter to make our Zappi EV charger compatible with our Nissan Leaf 2016, as they unfortunately don’t match natively. First impressions: It’s a small, lightweight adapter that feels easy to handle and well made enough for regular use. Straight away it seemed convenient—compact enough to live in the glove box without taking up space. Performance: In real-world use, it works exactly as intended. It’s a simple push-fit connection and clicks into place securely. Once connected, charging runs smoothly with no issues. The only slight downside is the button on the top—it feels a bit unnecessary and can be pressed accidentally, which is mildly annoying but not a dealbreaker. Pros: Compact and lightweight Easy push-fit connection Works perfectly with incompatible charger/car setups Convenient to store in glove box Cons: Top button feels unnecessary Easy to press accidentally Value for money: If you need to bridge the gap between a Type 2 charger and a Type 1 car, it’s a practical and worthwhile purchase that does exactly what you need. Verdict: A handy little adapter that solves a compatibility problem effortlessly. Despite a slightly annoying button design, it works flawlessly and is easy to keep on hand—very happy overall.

I bought this for my Mitsubishi Outlander so I could use my Zappi charger that is type 2. It worked the first day and for the past week I could not get it to charge on the timer after midnight or work at any time. Having just bought the car I took it back to the dealer and had them check it all and they updated the software and said it was all OK. Still it would not charge at home and today when looking at it trying to figure out the problem I pushed the silver button on the adaptor and the charging started instantly as I had removed all timers It will teach me to read instructions so make sure you PRESS the silver button when you plug it in.

Worked well at first but after 5 months has stopped working. The button no longer engages so it fails to charge. Disappointing!
