I have been using this product and I love it

I love black opal, it has great coverage and I have been using this brand for twenty years. The one star isn’t for the product but for the company that sold this product to me and sent me the completely wrong shade! On a positive note they let me keep the wrong shade which I gifted to my niece who is a lot darker than me and she loved the quality of this foundation. It’s getting harder and harder to get this product in my shade of ( truly topaz) I eventually got it sent in the correct colour/shade from Holland.

was nice a bit lighter than I expected so next time I'll try the next colour up, was a bit heavy on the skin/stiff.

Probably the best foundation I have ever used. I found it a bit challenging to find a foundation, I did waste money on expensive brands and they did not do the job for me. But I read quite good reviews on Black Opal foundation and decided to give them a try, I purchased 3 different ones (Truly Topaz, Hazelnut and to try to match my skin tone and I was very please with this purchase. The covering of this foundation is really good, no skin issues at all, looks very natural, last forever. I have nothing bad to say about this product.

It was the wrong shade for me. It’s real hard to pick a colour just from looking online sometimes because what you think is your shade sometimes looks exact until you receive and it wrong like in my case it is too light. I need the next shade up Au Chocolat. As far as the product goes it’s a beautiful brand it’s been around for years I remember seeing my mother my sister and my auntie used it frequently along with the powder I’m gutted because it’s just going to sit there I’m not sure if I can return though I will try only to exchange it with the next colour up. It goes on the skin so smooth and flawless with a matte, shine free full cover appearance and it last all day or night long. Looks flawless and just like my skin. I have been using this brand for years. It’s a true cream to powder foundation stick. I like a sheer coverage application, but you can easily build to a full coverage look if that’s what you like.
