Read the Instructions!
Open Before Your Trip! Purchased 2 of these for our trip to Italy. Both worked great, we have 2 unlocked iPhone 16’s. Your phones need to be unlocked for these to work, they said 12gb but when they arrived they activated for 20gb of data. Both had French #’s which was perfectly fine. Set up was easy just follow provided instructions, you need to do this while still in the US. Once we landed it asked us for our pin#’s we created and everything worked within 5 minutes. Allowed us internet, GPS and ability to make reservations and phone calls while traveling. Can’t recommend enough! This is our 1st time abroad with eSims and I was very nervous but everything worked as should. Only used 8gb and our trip was 12 days.

Don’t buy does not work!
Did not work Save your money and buy your carriers international plan. Sent son overseas with eSIM, unable to get activated. Thought it was user error. Reread all directions and support posts. When we arrived same issues. No ok to be out of country with no cell service.

Follow the instructions and it will work great
I've used it twice and am about to order another. Admittedly it can be a bit complicated for some people to install and use properly but if you follow the instructions, data coverage is great. Also note that you may have to manually try switching to different service providers on your phone upon arrival to find the one that works. Great price for what you get.

Worked great - But I have some advice for you
My cell phone provider doesn't provide service in Europe. So I bought this eSim for my unlocked iPhone 14 before leaving. I had great service, but not without some minor problems that I want to tell you about. I'd heard that you can buy SIMs like this once you're in Europe, but I didn't see any in the Frankfort airport or anywhere else until almost the end of my trip, so I'm glad I purchased this before going. You should open the package before leaving, unlike me, and because you're going to need to complete a short online form to receive an email with a QR code that you're going to need. You'll need to use your phone's camera to get the QR code's information into your phone and that will be difficult if you don't have a way to print it out or display it on a screen or another phone. I don't know about Android, but if you have an iPhone you can have multiple eSIMs on your phone. so you can install this one ahead of time and just turn it on when you arrive. The service won't start until the date you specify. The instructions you'll get in the email are pretty good. I suspect that most of the people who had problems didn't read them carefully. If you don't get service right away once you're in Europe than try turning your phone off and on, and make sure data roaming is on. The 8GB should have been more than enough for my 10 day trip but I ran out because I was taking a lot of photos, editing them and syncing them to the iCloud with cellular data. You'll probably want to turn that off. It should have been easy to purchase more data but you have to create an account first and I had trouble doing that. I don't know if there was a temporary problem with their website or if it was my location but nothing would happen with I pushed the submit button. And I tried numerous times with different browsers, a friend's phone and even a desktop computer. This is why I only gave four stars instead of five. Then, a day or so later in Amsterdam, it worked perfectly and I quickly got another 8GB for about 20 Euros. I had no problems with the phone and data service even in very rural areas. My phone connected to different providers depending on where I was on the Rhine. You'll get a new European phone number and you'll need to learn how to call the US with it (001 then the 10 digit phone number) and tell folks in the US how to call you (011 and then your European phone number). I created new contacts to make this easier. For example: Mike "From Europe" 0118005555555 There's a limit (30 minutes) to the amount of time you can make or receive calls OUTSIDE of Europe and you can use it up very quickly. BTW, when calling the US there was a lengthy delay before I could hear the ringing tone. I bought another Orange plan with a physical SIM card for another phone and it was even easier to setup. I just had to change the SIM card, power cycle the phone and turn data roaming on. It even came with a tool for removing the original SIM.

It does not work! No support! Bot is not helpful!
The eSIM does not work! I should have read the one star rating reviews and not bought it. Everything they mentioned is true. I contacted the tech support, followed the problem-solving instructions.. nothing worked! I had helped my friend set up her sim Card. It took a while and many steps but it worked. However, the eSIM was impossible. The trip I had been looking forward to became a nerve-racking journey.. I had to travel in Europe in the old fashion way- carrying a map, asking strangers for directions or getting lost... Regretted I had bought this!

Data works fine, the rest not so.
Last year I purchased this same eSIM and found that the data such as looking up stuff online and using my cell phone maps to get around Italy worked fine. I was never able to send or receive text messages or make/receive phone calls. I assume I had not properly installed the eSIM. So I bought it again for my recent trip to Spain. Same problem this time. I visited an Orange eSIM store in Madrid seeking help with the problem. I was told by the store employee, after she reviewed my phone, that talk, and text would not work in Spain. I had already reported this problem to Orange customer service. I have to admit that they tried to reach me by phone several times, but I was not available, and I do not speak French. I will not buy this product again. It advertises 12 GB of data, 30 minutes of talk and 200 test messages. That was not my experience.

Worked fine everywhere we went in France.
A good, easy to use eSIM. Simply installed it, activated, and used it without fuss. No PIN on it either (thank goodness). Worked fine in France, with a real phone number, and easy calling/texting locally and back home to Canada. Good price as well, as cheap as many data-only eSIMs. Next trip though, we won't need one -- switched our Canada mobiles to Freedom, with international roaming/usage included for free.

Works well!
Once I managed to make it work it did the job really well. Instructions were a bit confusing and long to do but in the end you manage. Once you activate it, it takes a little while before it connects (like 5-10min) but once that's done it works like a charm.

Great but…
I used this ESIM card for a trip in Portugal. It worked well almost all the time but not all the time! I have an IPhone 14 Pro. Sometimes, for absolutely no reason, despite the fact that my phone was showing I was on a network (5G or LTE) I could not connect to the internet. The only way to make it work again was to turn off the phone and reopening it. IMPORTANT. When you do that, the IPhone will ask you the PIN of the ESIM so don’t forget it!! In my case the pin was 0000…. Was kind of hard to forget! Other than that I was working well. My girlfriend has an IPhone 13 and had no issue.
