I'm giving this thing a full 5 stars for sheer value. Yes, it is programmable. Yes, you can control it from a Windows PC or Android app, or RS232, or Ethernet. I simply have it sitting on top of my stack of various computers and SBCs and select any combination of signals to displays and video capture cards. Immensely useful (you already knew that) but also plug-and-play simple, stable, reliable, and super-affordable. Someday I'll get around to using all of its features, but right now it's dong exactly what I needed. Recommended without reservation.

This is a really nice unit, says professional grade and it is. Very thick case, solid feel on the buttons. Works great at 4k. I love that I can choose 4 inputs to 4 different tv monitors in my shop. I can make any tv my computer monitor. Very happy I choose this brand... worth it

Units work well for they are, however, they all appear to come with the same network MAC address, so if they are on the same network this will cause issues, I am also have an issue with the HDMI Output on a long HDMI Cable locking up the unit ( 20ft+ ) recommended not to use long HDMI cables on the output side. update: manufacture helped resolve mac address duplicate issue, there is a hidden telnet command you can use to modify the mac address if you have a conflict. revised my review to 5 stars for support feedback.

The ability to control the matrix via a web gui on a Network makes this great value. Love the scenes feature that allows you to preset inputs and outputs. Works great with Bit-Focus companion to recall scenes and more. Some latency but for a purpose more than acceptable.

I use these types of matrix switchers professionally and I was looking for something to use at home to avoid endless splitters and adapters to route different devices around and this works very well. The manual isn't perfect but it's good. Switching is super easy and saving and recalling preset scenes is too. The remote works great. I didn't use the IR extenders. Picture and sound are beautiful. I didn't even have to set EDID or deal with any DHCP compatibility issues. Everything just worked when I plugged them in. Be sure you're using quality cables if you have problems. For my setup, I have 4 inputs: Comcast cable box, security cameras, a MacPro, and a game system. Only using three outputs: TV, a smaller monitor that usually shows the cameras, and an HDMI transmitter that sends a feed to the kitchen's HDMI receiver that feeds the kitchen TV. Being able to switch sources and recall scenes makes it so easy to mix and match what goes where. I love being able to keep an eye on the cameras while the dog is outside and I'm cooking, or sending the game to the TV and the kitchen so I can walk around and not miss anything. A built-in webpage that would allow control using a browser on my phone would be so choice! That's the only addition I'd love to see.

Unit works extremely well. Using it to drive 3 monitors with 4 different inputs going into it. On occasion I have to reset power as input 3 will stop. I switched devices inputting and it stays on 3, so it is not the handshake between a particular unit and this one. Totally worth the money IMHO even with the bug. Web interface work bit is very dated looking and feeling.

What a complete disappointment. This unit was advertised as a 'multi-view' capable device. Right after I ordered it, the sale description was changed. So it is not a true 4x4 matrix switch for both inputs and outputs. You can route any ONE input to any or all of the OUTPUTS, but you cannot route MORE THAN ONE INPUT to ANY OUTPUT, so not multi-view feature set. I will be returning this item, since it was presented as a multi-view feature set unit, but it is CLEARLY NOT SO.

Great box that works amazing. The size is a bit wide than the standard ones so make sure you have the space to put it. Otherwise from that it's an amazing box
