TNP PS2 Component Cable Premium YPbPr Component Video Cable RCA AV for PlayStation 2/3 (PS2/PS3)

This cable provides a much cleaner, sharper image compared to composite cables, with far more accurate colours. The difference is literally night and day. Compared to other composite cables, this one has good shielding and offers good value - more expensive options are available, but I imagine these would offer diminishing returns. The cable it's self has a good build quality, with a nice braiding on the main part. It's quite rigid, which may make it difficult for those with their console tucked away. Supporting up to 1080p output on the PS3 means it can handle good image quality, and working both progressive and interlaced makes it great for use with upscalers (GBS-C/OSSC/RetroTink) on the PS2. I've tested it with both consoles, using both the OSSC and GBS-C and have been very happy with the results.

The cable feels very high quality and is very easy to setup, it gives a very clear image when plugged into my devices.

Great cables, shows just how much better component cables are for the PS2 for picture quality compared to AV! I can actually read text clearly and it has so much more detail. Cable itself is braided and of high quality, fits secure and easily. This will make it very hard to go back to AV cables now!

This got delivered fast, I have plugged it into my tv and it works straight away. I noticed this improvement straight away for the PS2 and works wonders saved me looking into a different/old tv that I defo would not have space for. I only give 4 stars as I want one for my Gamecube they have one for WII but its a different end

strong stiff cables, worked well with my older component tv and now using my GBSC hooked up to a ps2/wii and 4k tv. never had an issue

The quality got worse than a official ps2 av cable, crazy amount of ghosting do not recommend.

Good cable

I haven’t touched the PS2 in years but got a new game I really wanted to play, but it looked like crud on my LED telly with composite. Got these bad boys and the picture is sharp, the cable build is perfect, and the sound is the same as the composite (stereo and good). Recommend to anyone

Some reviewers say the cable doesn't work. Mine didn't work on the component input on my TV at first, and I was about to send it back, but after some research, I found it's not the cable that's defective, it was a wrong setting on the PS2. For anyone in the same situation, try the following: temporarily use the yellow plug on the composite input on your TV (and switch your TV to the composite input) so you can see an image from the PS2 and get to the settings. Turn the PS2 on and go into the System Settings, scroll down to the component settings, and set it to YPbPr (instead of RGB). Once this change is made, you the component output should work. This worked for me, and the image is a lot better than on composite, so totally worth it. The cable feels great and heavy duty. Great quality.
