Reliable and Perfect for Video Shoots!
I purchased the NEEWER CB60B for a recent video shoot, and it worked flawlessly! The light is powerful and provides consistent, high-quality illumination, which was exactly what I needed to achieve a professional look for my project. The bi-color feature was a game-changer, allowing me to adjust the color temperature seamlessly to match different environments. It was easy to set up and control, and the build quality feels solid and durable—perfect for on-the-go shoots or studio work. One of the best things about it is how quiet it is. Even during longer sessions, there was no noise interference, which is crucial for video work. Plus, it’s lightweight and portable, making it super convenient to transport. If you’re looking for a reliable and versatile light for your video productions, I can’t recommend the NEEWER CB60B enough. It exceeded my expectations and has become an essential part of my gear!

This is a must in your video recording setups!
Excellent quality! This has taken my videos to a whole new level. Very sturdy, good value for the money though. The App works great, but just so you know; if you turn the light off from your App it’s going to be in Sleep mode kind of like. Make sure to turn the switch off when you’re done using it.

Title: “Turns Any Basement Into a Hollywood Set” Review: The NEEWER CB60B is basically a 70-watt ball of controlled daylight — powerful enough to light up a room like a nuclear event, but with the finesse to dial things down to a gentle, cinematic glow. The bicolor function is fantastic, letting you seamlessly shift from cool daylight to warm tungsten with no weird color casts. The build feels rugged and pro-tier, not toy-grade, and the included Bowens mount means you can throw any softbox or modifier on it without worrying it’ll sag or snap. The fan is quiet enough that you won’t hear it unless you’re recording audio in total monk-like silence. Controls are intuitive, but pair it with the NEEWER app and you’ll adjust settings from across the room like a Hollywood gaffer with a remote. Pros: ✔️ Super bright 70W output with solid bicolor range ✔️ Quiet fan keeps things cool ✔️ Bowens mount compatibility = endless modifier options ✔️ Easy app or manual control ✔️ Built tough Cons: ➖ You’ll discover how bad your other lights are by comparison Bottom line: if you want to bring pro lighting into your studio without maxing out a Hollywood budget, the CB60B is an absolute powerhouse. It turned my gloomy office into a legit production studio, and now my other lights are crying in the corner.

Good
Nice product, works well. Only wish it was a bit brighter when using a soft-box.

Excellent value1
This arrived quickly (2 days ago) and yesterday I made a few tests using the light. It's very quiet, easy to adjust and is an excellent value. Especially useful if you want a relatively small equipment footprint. Weighs a bit more than I expected, but still relatively light. The diffuser is useful, but I may invest in a box diffuser. Haven't tried the app yet because the manual controls are so easy to use.

Good light
Great light, didn’t come with a remote but the light works great. Easy to use and compact.

NEEWER CB60B 70W LED Video Light Review – Powerful Bi-Color COB Light with App Control
The NEEWER CB60B 70W LED Video Light is a compact but capable COB light that punches above its weight for content creators, photographers, and small video setups. After using it for talking-head videos, product shots, and accent lighting, it’s clear this light is designed for users who want flexibility and strong output without jumping to higher-priced professional fixtures. The standout feature is the bi-color range from 2700K to 6500K, which makes it easy to match ambient lighting or shift mood without gels. The color temperature adjustments are smooth and consistent, and in CCT mode the light remains stable without noticeable flicker. At full power, the claimed 34,000 lux at 1 meter feels accurate when paired with the included reflector—brightness is more than sufficient for close-to-mid range key lighting. Control options are another strong point. You can adjust settings directly on the unit, via the NEEWER app, or with 2.4G wireless control, which is especially useful if the light is mounted high or used as part of a multi-light setup. The app connection is generally reliable, though it can take a moment to reconnect if the light has been powered off. Build quality is solid for the price. The housing feels sturdy, the fan does its job without being overly loud, and heat management is handled well even during extended use. The Bowens mount compatibility is a big plus, allowing easy use with softboxes, beauty dishes, and other modifiers. On the downside, 70W may not be enough for large scenes or overpowering strong daylight, and the fan noise—while reasonable—could be noticeable in very quiet recording environments if the mic is placed close. This isn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s something to be aware of for audio-sensitive shoots. Overall, the NEEWER CB60B offers excellent value for solo creators, streamers, and small studio users who want strong output, flexible color control, and multiple control options in a compact package.

* UPDATE *
* UPDATE * I had issues with the light and customer service sent me another one that has been working great. Upgrading my review to 5 stars. Great customer service. Pam with Neweer did the right thing. I used this light one time for about 20 minutes. I turned it on today and it was on for about 10 minutes before the light shutoff by itself. The fan continued to run but the light would not turn on. It also would not respond via the app. I unplugged for several minutes and tried again but the same thing happened. The fan cut on but the light would not. I’m using this light inside in a climate controlled environment. Hopefully this one is just a dud cause I do like Neewer products and did like the light before it stopped working.
