Redragon K618 PRO Wireless Ultra-Thin Gaming Keyboard, Macro & Media Scroll

I don’t usually write reviews, but this product deserves one. This might sound counterproductive, but the biggest issue with this keyboard is that it’s priced too low. I paid just under $70 for it, while several other keyboards in a similar class cost well over $100. As far as I know at the time of writing, this is the only full-size, fully mechanical keyboard using low-profile switches—so I’m essentially paying about 30% less for 30% more keys. Furthermore, this is the only keyboard I’ve ever purchased that includes eight spare keys in the box. Whenever users raise complaints on Amazon, the company actually updates the software. The software now includes options to adjust sleep time, debounce settings, and tap sensitivity, which I’ve never seen in typical keyboard software. That brings me to the remaining issue: people are buying this as if it were just a regular cheap keyboard—and it’s not. This keyboard is designed for very minimal downward movement and very light force, which is especially helpful for people who do a lot of typing or those with disabilities that limit hand strength. I don’t know whether it would specifically help someone with carpal tunnel, but I suspect it could go a long way toward preventing strain. That said, switching to a different keyboard style will likely require some adjustment and may result in a fair number of misclicks at first. It has a nice aluminum top plate, very custom in-house key design, double-shot keycaps with translucent lettering, a volume roller wheel, and fully programmable keys. In fact, every mechanical key on the board is rebindable—if you want the letter N to open Notepad, you can do that. Of course, there are some trade-offs at this level of customization. Like many higher-end keyboards, there can be small hiccups. For example, mine didn’t appear in the software when first connected. I had to open the installation directory and manually run the updater to force a driver update. After that, it worked perfectly. But again, that’s the kind of setup step you’d expect from a premium, highly customizable keyboard, not a cheap one.

I am truly in love with this keyboard. I tried the flat corsair keyboard and became obsessed, but the price was too high. This is a close second. It is so comfortable to type on and I love the blue switches. I mostly use it for actual work and Final Fantasy XIV. The RGB settings are also great. I have mine set to snake and it looks awesome. It is high quality and it was easy to connect to my PC. This is such a well-priced keyboard and checked all my boxes for what I wanted out of my gaming keyboard.

I like redragon keyboards so im gonna go 4 stars though it really isnt working for me. definately seems well built. I am keen on full size and height keyboards but wanted something that was wireless with on the fly macro recording. I only buy blue swutch keyboards and compared to my redragon 580 VATA these switches are very smushy. my biggest complaint is that the on the fly macro record only allows 15 characters and it inputs them very slow. the 580 allows more key unputs and automatically launches them when you press the macro button. 580 in wireless with blue switches would be my perfect keyboard.

Color of keyboard is nice , black is always great and life of the color schemes are cool. This is nice and clicky, feels it would last for a long time , doesn't feel flimsy at all. As far as responsiveness is, its good most times, but there are some intermittent moments where there is lag, which i don not like, i will type a letter and i will getttttttttt something like that. Sometimes the corrections wont register. Not nice if you want to be clear in your responses. I like the clicky noise - its ideal, not too much. The cost is reasonable, i get what i paid for.

This keyboard is an amazing buy. If your looking for a tactile clicky, the blue switches feels AMAZING! The keyboard doesnt feel cheap, doesnt look cheap either. It can be connected up to 3 bluetooth devices, comes with dongle, and can be connect via usb-c. This in my opinion is far better than those so called "premium keyboard" that cost ridiculous for what it can do. Give this keyboard a shot and you wont regret it.

Pressed keys frequently do not press, my wpm goes from around 55 average to 43 average with this keyboard. The ctrl key does not wake the keyboard along with several other keys, this means if you highlight some text and go to copy and paste it, when you hit Ctrl+c, you are really only hitting c, thus replacing your text with c, so then you go to paste and you realize you never copied anything, then you have to ctrl z the paste, ctrl z the c you typed, copy it correctly, and actually paste it. Unfortunately I decided to clean my room the day after I got this and I thought it was a good idea to throw the packaging away, so I cannot return it. I have tried installing their software, updating the drivers, and I have done multiple typing tests on bluetooth, 2.4g and usb, none of it makes a difference. This is a terrible keyboard, I have purchased a Logitech g613 instead, it would be my second one, it is not as fancy, it has significant issues long term, but until it starts to go it will be 1000 times better than this keyboard.

I don't think I've had this keyboard for more than 3 months now, and the Backspace Key is already not working correctly. I know that it's probably the most key that I hit because I suck at typing, but I've never had a Keyboard go bad so fast. I Keyboard feels cheap. I wouldn't recommend you spend this much money on it. I believe it's called Ghost typing , when it doesn't recognize keys you hit,. that happens a lot with this keyboard. I wish I could return it, but I believe it's been to long now. The Redragon Software that you're supposed to Download and Install doesn't work at all . The Bluetooth connectivity is okay, I didn't have a problem with that . but don't waste your money. Spend a little more money and get a better working keyboard .

Does as advertised, requires just the right amount of pressure to get feedback from the keys. High quality, and easy to set up (IF you bother to read the manual, anyways).

I work as a 911 dispatcher. This keyboard is a life saver. This keyboard spits words! Plus the combinations of keys and MACROS. It doesnt need the application and stores the MACROS and keybinds on the on-board memory which means you just have to set it up in your personal computer and then bring it to work! I love the dedicated G buttons for the macros. You also have M1-4 to bank different set of macros. I bought 2 already. I have paired this keyboard with m913-Elite Max with 14 programable buttons excluding the left and right click. Downside the dongle connection has a bit of latency. So make sure to keep it close to the keyboard - use a longer USB dock or extender to close the gap between dongle and unit. Just FYI if you have 2 keyboard like this (because I bought 2 lol) DONT set-up both keyboard on the same computer on the software it will screw up the firmware for the dongle. Dongles will end up unpaired to the keyboard unit. Another thing... I prefer the clicky blue switches since it provides that tactile feel. Linear red gives me tons of typo (sometimes pressed the same keys like 20x times). That's just me but its up to you. Its just that clicky blue is much more forgiving for novice and casual typist. UPDATE* - it has some limitations on the G macros. Once there are G macros stored and if you bind "text" on a key - some text wont work/will cut off or worse it will crash the keyboard (pressing random keys indefinitely). Suggestion - do not use the dedicated G buttons entirely and just stick with the FN+letters to save macros.

Nice quality mechanical keyboard with very cool RGB Led Lights! All the connection modes work great.
