Best so far... By far
I'm no stranger to electronic mosquito swatters. I've had at least 6 or 7 in my adult life and gift them as well. This one is certainly the best so far for multiple reasons: 1. Multiple charging options, either leave on docking stand (super convenient) or plug into USB-C (makes it legitimately portable) 2. Has an option to press button which saves battery and prevents accidental pain to non-insect life forms 3. Has an option for full-time on so I don't have to hold the button down, and can just leisurely swing it around while performing other tasks (cleaning pool equipment, bbq'ing, etc) 4. Back to the portable thing, it swivels down to a compact size and shape. 5. Built in light is better than my previous ones This is very powerful with a long lasting battery. I went ahead and bought a second after using the first for a few days. If there's one area of improvement they all have, it would be to make the kill zone notably larger and more square. It might look strange but it'll reduce miss frequency.

GREAT - works exactly as described
OMG this this is AWESOME - kills tiny fruit flies and such with ease, and mosquitos cannot escape either with their darting flight paths, this catches them every time! I am having way too much fun using this, but felt a little bad when it didn't kill a standard house fly it just stunned it a bit - so for those I think the most humane thing is a classic fly swatter so that they at least die instantly. Charges like a dream and literally works exactly as described. I did notice that the manual says that the purple light does not attract bugs but that it is simply there to alert you when the paddle is in full auto mode instead of the press button mode, so just something to be aware of.

Really cute gadget, that works!
I’ve had one before that you could charge by itself, but I leave this one in a charging stand, even though it has a C charging port that can be charged individually. I leave it plugged in into its charging stand and leave it charged all the time, standing up near the stove, it attracts bugs, and I hear it zapping a few times an hour. It works. I can also tell you that I’ve managed to get my fingers in the charging grid, and yelped when I got zapped, so I know it works! Hard to do, I know, and a little stupid of me, but, well, live and learn!! The tennis ratchet like face moves 180°, which is helpful to get into difficult places. It works on small and large insects and, although the larger insects may take a little while to disable or kill, it does its job.

Useful but practical?
I had lots of bugs flying into my house this summer and needed a zapper to eliminate them. This was useful to leave it on the kitchen counter and turn it to 'always on.' The fruit flies and mosquitos would fly and zap themselves. But for normal flies, they would dodge or avoid them and was hard to catch. The battery mode lasted more or less 90 mins and needed to be charged. With the base, it would be on continuously, but it had light buzzing sound that I did not like. This sound may have caused flies to fly away instead of attracting them. If you need something that attracts the bug to do kamikaze dive, I suggest look for other brands.

Automation for the win
I previously had one of the manual rackets that you had to press and hold a button to activate the electric field, and unfortunately lost it in the moving process. But it worked out, as I got this product and overall I’d say I’m satisfied. The convenience factor of the on-off sliding toggle is nice, so you don’t have to press and hold every time and risk missing the bug due to not having pressed the button at the right time. I also love the adjusting handle - soooo *handy*! The only con I’d say is that the UV light works, but function-wise it actually hasn’t done much to attract and zap bugs; just wastes battery. Otherwise very positive experience all around! UPDATE: Upgraded from 4 stars to 5 stars in account of the fact that I left this on, UV light and all, in hopes that it would lure the 4-inch monster mosquito that managed to somehow make its way into my house. It took some time, but eventually as I was watching TV, I heard one big ZAP! It’s the real deal. Consider me impressed. Tip: if you’re trying to passively zap, I strongly recommend turning it on and laying it flat rather than upright.

Burned out and does not illuminate
I purchased one of these over the summer within three months. It stopped working. The box says it has a year warranty and that you just need to email their support. I emailed and never received a response after a couple of months of not hearing from them. I went ahead and ordered another one because Initially the first one did work well, but it burned out within three months. I ordered another one and it came and it doesn’t even illuminate so it’s already malfunctioned before I even got a chance to use it. Needless to say I’m requesting a refund and will return the item. Otherwise, I can say that the item did work very well the first three months that I had it this is the first one the second one that I ordered to replace it never did work or illuminate obviously, the one year warranty written on the box is not adhere to, but I will email them again to see what happens after contacting Amazon.

Looks good, works, but isn't strong enough to kill them bugs!
Its a cool device but honestly doesn't kill bugs as well as my $10 one from Camping World. They fly in and it makes the big spark but then they just twitch and fly off again. Battery life seems good. Overall it is a nice quality product but just isn't strong enough.

Greatest Invention Ever Made
Works like a charm. I bought it to kill the pesky house flies which does a great job, but them flies have moves. When you get them, it’s an instant kill with this fly swatter. Sometime a fly gets stuck but I don’t let go of the button, I love to her the current go through that insect’s body and watch it sizzle. Now, I use it on every insect I encounter and it doesn’t discriminate. I’m to the point I set traps for insects so I can use this device. Don’t matter what part of the day too, I love using this thing. I’ll take three please.

Fazit: Tut sehr zuverlässig was soll, gute Verarbeitung, unschlagbarer Preis. Daher volle Punktzahl!

Best fly zapper ever!
Love this! It doesn’t just zap insects but obliterates them! We’ve had a problem with small infestation of tiny moths - I leave it on and charging and you hear an almighty crack and nothing even left of the moths so it’s helped us get rid of hundreds of them effectively by either the moths being attracted to the light on it or us spotting the moths and going after them - not even a wing left LOL! Big juicy flies are barbecued nicely and then they often explode with a satisfying sound - mosquitoes get obliterated too 👍🏻 love the fact it just stays in a stand on auto or you can use it manually andfold it down and be put away without taking up much room at all.

Ben fatta!
