Perfect first cup for baby
I have a lot of cups for my baby, including a very popular bear shaped cup. I’m trying to introduce water to my baby so trying to find the perfect cup for him. He is 11 months old. This Dr. Brown’s straw cup is the best cup. I’ve tried so far. I love that you can close the top so I can keep the straw clean when traveling. Even when the top is closed, it doesn’t bend the straw so much that it’s ruined the integrity of it. I love that it’s spill proof. I like the size of it and it has pretty good grip. I like the dark blue color. The only con I can think of is it’s really hard to clean the straw. Not sure if I am doing it incorrectly, but there are some kind of anti-leak anti-spill mechanism with the straw, which makes it very, very hard to clean other than that, this is my go to cup for my baby for when he drinks water. The price is totally worth it for this cup.

13 month old LOVES this cup.
This is the first sippy cup that I’ve been able to get my 14 month old to actually use. He carries it around with him everywhere and ACTUALLY drinks the water out of it. It’s not leak proof but he can’t just spill it out which works for us. If he shakes it hard enough it’ll drip. But we seriously tried every other cup. I did the research. Tried the 360 cup that everyone’s talking about. He just couldn’t figure any of them out. He LOVES this one. I already bought 2 more.

The Acrobatic Sippy Cup
If your child drinks water like they’re auditioning for Cirque du Soleil—upside down, sideways, hanging off the sofa—then this cup is about to become your new best friend. It’s basically the "Mission Impossible" of baby gear. The straw has a little weight at the bottom, which sounds simple until you see it in action. When your baby decides to lie flat on their back to hydrate, the weight swings to the top so they can actually keep drinking. No more "mom, it’s broken" screams just because they’re horizontal! The "Quirks" (Because nothing is perfect) • The Crank: When the weight travels to the top, the straw does a little "crank" move. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely got a personality of its own. • The Handle Rubik’s Cube: Warning: you have to align the lid exactly right with the handles to get it to screw on. It’s like a secret handshake between you and the cup. If you don't get it just right, it’s not closing. It’s a great way to test your patience at 6:00 AM! Also my 6 month old was able to hold it no issues. The "Mom Win" Features ✅ • Leak-Proof: I have watched this thing tumble, and it does not spill. It’s like Fort Knox for juice. • The Travel Shield: It has a lid that snaps shut over the straw. So, when it inevitably falls onto the floor of the car or a public play area, the straw stays clean. No "floor spice" in the water today! • Compact: It’s nice and small, fitting perfectly into the diaper bag without taking up the space of a small SUV. It’s a bit finicky to assemble and the straw is a little "extra," but for a spill-proof cup that works at any angle? I’ll solve the handle puzzle any day. It’s definitely worth the money. They are incredibly durable I’ve had ours for almost a year. Final Thought: Great for travel, great for tiny gymnasts, just be prepared for a 3-second struggle every time you put the lid on!

Awesome cup
My baby loves this cup! It’s easy for him to drink out of and I love that the straw is weighted. We have had no leaks so far and it has been thrown on the ground quite a bit. I just take everything apart and put it in the dishwasher and it has held up and cleans good.

Great Training Cup for Little Ones Learning to Drink Independently
Dr. Brown's Milestones Baby's First Straw Cup has been a great transition cup for my child. The weighted straw design is especially helpful because it allows little ones to drink from different angles, making it easier for them to learn how to use a straw independently. The cup is well-made, easy for small hands to hold, and helps minimize spills during everyday use. I also like that the lid stays secure and the straw encourages proper oral development while making hydration more enjoyable. I'm giving it 4 stars because cleaning the straw and its components can take a bit of extra effort, and occasional leaks may occur if the cup is tossed around in a diaper bag. However, these are minor drawbacks compared to the overall functionality and quality. Overall, this is a reliable training cup that supports the transition from bottles or sippy cups to straw drinking. I would definitely recommend it to parents looking for a practical and child-friendly option.

Good for a first straw cup
This is the best cup we found for our baby to learn to use a straw. Baby would not take bottles (bottle refusal) but we were able to teach them to use this cup around 6 months. Baby was able to hold it independently around 7 months so easy for on the go. We found them easy to clean. Mostly leak proof but the straw does flick a little liquid when you close it. When closed, it doesn’t leak. The colored measurements do rub off with frequent use so we had to premeasure the milk before putting it in the cup.

Mom of 5 approved
The IT sippy cup. The weighted straw is the kind of detail that a mom of 5 rates at the top of her must have list! Long gone are the days I could give one on one training to my baby to become a man and drink through a straw and not a nipple! This cup does all the work! My baby-genius can hold the handles and the straw is in the perfect angle to make even an uncoordinated baby genius feel like an Olympian! He feels like a million bucks drinking from his sippy. And I feel like a million bucks knowing that cup taught him a skill he needed to enter the beautiful world of drinking from a straw! Signed, a mother with an independent, well-hydrated baby Pros: the color( thank you for not making my eyes bleed or putting a stupid dinosaur graphic on the side of the cup, Dr. Brown) the weighted straw, dishwasher friendly, easy assembly and disassembly for washing, includes a straw cleaner, ergonomic, spill proof (as long as you remember to pull that straw up into the lid properly after washing—pull until it pops into place—very satisfying ) Cons: none

Good toddler bottle
Love this bottle for my toddler! The handles make it very easy for him to hold and the straw is great for development making it easy to drink from. I put it in the sterilizer, I’m not sure if it is dishwasher safe or not but it can be sterilized. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because when I put milk in it, sometimes it will push through the top and leak, even when closed which has caused a few outfit changes.

Serves the purpose but a lot of cons
Problem I had with this item: 1. It leaks 2. The inner ball doesn’t quite come up when my toddler lies down, making it difficult to drink since it mentions that the inner straw moves as the baby changes positions but it doesn’t. Only okay when they are standing or in an upright position 3. Milk pours out when you try to open the lid making it messy. I only kept it because I urgently needed a sippy cup or else this would have been a return

Nice bottle
Really nice bottle, strong material, leak proof, easy to was, just pay attention that the straw has 3 parts that pull apart so you can clean it properly. The weighted straw is not following the liquid as it’s saying in the description, you need to move the bottle a not to get where you need to go, reason for 4 stars. Otherwise it’s a good bottle!

Poor
I did not receive what is advertised! The lid is also scratched. And looks cheap. I’m not convinced that this is an original DrBrowns bottle!!!! Feels like cheap plastic
