It doesn’t work. At all. I ordered two and tried them both with two different sets of lighting headphones (both of which work fine with other devices) and tried each one in both of the USB-C ports on my MacBook. Nothing. The MacBook doesn’t even recognize that an alternate sound ouput is plugged in. The MacBook is new and in great condition: both C ports work fine, and audio works fine with the 3.5 plug. II have no idea what the problem is, but I’ll have to return them.

I’d read reviews on other adapters that the connectors were loose causing poor reception. These are solid and work great.

Bought this to adapt an Apple firewire wired headphone set to new iPhone 16 but it doesn't work, no sound either listening to music or on a phone call. Will return and try another one.

This is a really good quality cord, it's built really well you can tell right away. However it didn't work with my specific iPhone 15, I'm not sure why. The plug would just get kind of hot and it would disconnect the audio the whole thing didn't work.

The lightning audio adapter works so well! I plugged it right into my headphone cord and I was able to use it without any issues.

i purchased this to connect to a lighting cable for my car so i can get my music working on my new phone and it works just as i was hoping! good quality and doesn’t change the audio at all!

Since the EarPods are for your iPhone, this connector allows me to use it with my laptop for zoom calls. I gave it only 4 stars bc every once in a while I’ll hear a small static when I’m connected but not enough to bother me.
