This CMC brace was recommended by an orthopedic surgeon as an alternative to surgery. So far it is allowing me to continue with my lifestyle without as much pain and without having to undergo surgery.

i tried it on as soon as i received it i is a little hard to get used to it but it gives me the support where i need it

Apparently no warranty second failure
Failed after 1 month of normal use. Needs to be reinforced undone area’s. 3 months after a replacement the second unit failed in exactly the same way. This unit definitely needs redesign. I will buy from a different manufacturer next time.

Bit uncomfortable
I do wish that it wear more comfortable. But even this large one tends to pinch the bone just below the thumb, the trapezium. The plastic is too rigid to flatten out a bit so it would hug the whole bone and not just the lateral surface

Thumb bracevery sturdy
Very sturdy. I needed a brace just like this but more pliable. I returned this because it's very hard plastic and I need one that's more malleable.
