Bought this as a gift off the back of the other reviews. I'm really pleased - the quality of this is beyond the price tag. The cover is lovely soft leatherette, with the beautiful embossed leaf design. There are two pieces of leather thong with a metal leaf to keep the notebook closed with. The paper inside is thick and looks like handmade paper when it has the little bits in. The ring binder style means you can easily remove and add sheets if necessary. This is a beautiful gift - recommend

What a lovely note book. Great quality materials, lovely feel to it and it's pretty! Very cute details so won't go unnoticed. Pages are brown, that might be an issue for some, but ir works for me as I'm graphic designer and sketch a lot. I actually prefer non white paper, especially on a sunny afternoon- light reflection doesn't blind you. Recommend it.

This is a great vintage looking notebook. The cover looks gorgeous, especially the colour, and it is easy to tie it shut or to open it. The leaf pendant is a lovely touch and really adds character. Addtionally the cover isn't real leather but it looks and feels similar. It is B6 which is a nice compact size, you can fit it into your handbag or backpack without taking up too much space. The notebook also seems to be well constructed, it is not likely to fall apart, the spine is quite sturdy. There are a decent amount of pages but even if you run out you can easily refill it as it has several rings inside, it works just like a regular ringbinder except it looks much nicer! The rings are gold in colour and shut securely - so you don't have to worry about any pages falling out. I tried writing on the pages with both a biro and fountain pen and both worked great - the pens moved smoothly across them and my writing came out neatly. Furthermore, when using the fountain pen, the ink didn't run or smudge and it also dried relatively quickly. Of course you can use pencils on it too and make some fun drawings, again, the paper works well for that purpose. I would also like to add that the paper isn't see through - this is an issue I've had with other notebooks where you can clearly see writing from the other side come through, but it's not the case with this one. Overall I would definitely recommend this notebook.

J'essaye de "renouer" avec la calligraphie... trop de "touches" d'ordinateur, trop de "digital", trop 'assistant personnel" m'on "éloigné" du papier, des vraies notes ( mise à part la rapide signature ). Il est vraiment beau ce carnet mini-classeur (A5). J'ai craqué pour sa couleur verte et je n'en suis pas déçue. Il a un revêtement très doux, agréable, tel que "peau de pêche". Une sorte de "suédinnée" ( ce mot n'existe pas! ). Bien sur, du papier recyclé l'accompagne. Une lanière en cuir sert d’attache. C'est à ce jour, mon carnet d’élection. Trop beau, un rappel "nature" à un prix...dérisoire!
