They are plain tablets - a little bit chalky. Kind of like a standard aspirin tablet, but larger in diameter. They don’t seem to be coated with anything. I chew them and find they taste mildly like chalk. I prefer them to varieties that are flavored as they don’t interfere with the taste of my food.
