Timeless classic kids still love
I bought this Amelia Bedelia collection for my great-niece because these books were my absolute favorite when I was growing up. Enjoyable and relatable, despite the silly puns
Amelia's main characteristic is that she gets confused by puns, homonyms, and idiomatic expressions. For me this humor fell pretty flat. For my daughter, it went right over her head. And the joke is not always explained, which was a little annoying. However, that aside, my daughter still loved the stories and wanted them re-read to her. Amelia is a creative and active girl, so I think her adventures and feelings are relatable and inspiring.

El set está muy bonito, los libros con pastas blandas pero con acabados excelentes y el interior en papel reciclado muy legible (no es blanco). Tiene muchas ilustraciones en blanco y negro y el personaje vive aventuras similares a las que está viviendo mi niña, así que se identifica con el personaje.
