So fun! For kiddos and adults who are into being amazed by the micro! My son and I love exploring the many tiny things this world has, from leafs and the tiny intricacies, to the beauty of a crystal or jewel that sparkles, to looking a print on paper, and faces on old photos from times that were before. We love this little microscope. Its magnification was sharp, and adjustable. The price was nothing compared to the hours we spent together exploring a world of tiny. The light on this microscope was very helpful with seeing a the details. We have had this for over a year now and still it continues to work well, very sturdy and great quality.

This thing is actually really cool for the price! It’s way better than expected for what I needed it for which is to check the maturity of all our favorite medicinal flowers. Let me tell you first hand for the price you can not go wrong, it is a tad bit hard to get used to using the microscope but once you get the hang of it you can see things crystal clear! It came within 2 days which is awesome and works very well! It even came with 5 slides with different things on them from plant cells to some different bug parts. Overall I would recommend the only reason I give it 4 stars is for it being a little on the harder side to get to learn to successfully use it.

It works, and you can see stuff up close, but Only 3 stars because the clarity isn't that great. I wasn't expecting much for the price and i wasnt disappointed. It's pretty grainy, even with the led lights on (which do work great). Really, you do get what you pay for optivally, and if you're going to want enough clarity to see fine details, get a better microscope. I dont know which one to buy to get better clarity...I guess you have to start somewhere....this wasn't it (for me). Some users may find it just fine. It's fine for kids with a mild curiosity of small things, but because of the lack of clarity, if there's any interest, you'll eventually be buying a better one. I guess that's the perfect use-case for this, a cheap way to see if your kid has any interest. The light works great but the button is easy to accidentally push while in the case, so you need to take the battey out before storing or you'll likely have a dead battery. The uv light is fairly ineffective. It doesn't point at the object being studied and it's a long ways away so the effect is pretty mild. Usually, it's too dark to see much using the uv light.

Great for what it is! It is a cheaper, portable field microscope. Only has so much zoom, but what it does have is pretty good. I don't understand why people say it's hard to focus, it really isn't, it's quite easy to use. The slides are a nice way for you to understand how the magnification and focus knobs work best for you and what to expect to see. Best optics will come from a steady hand or stationary placement. You will lose the focus if you move it - it's not a stationary microscope, it won't work exactly like one. All of that being said, I am an adult who likes to see all the little things that make up all the big things, so the focusing was easy for me. Children will more than likely need help and some patience with a potential learning curve. Otherwise it's a great and compact way to see the smaller things out in the world!

Cool little toy. Great for kids

These are so fun to play with. Great to go around the house and yard and zoom in on literally everything. My 8 and 12yo loved them for Christmas as a stocking stuffer. Adults love them, too! The picture is great, too once you get focused, just have to be sure it stays still- like with any microscope. It even comes with a few slides! Only complaint is that I wish it came with a hard case bc the flashlight will turn on and you won’t even know it when you’re carrying it. Otherwise, a toggle on/off instead of a button.

It’s hard to get this thing to focus and it is not the best for toddler. Definitely not easy to use.

So fun! My 10 year old is loving how much detail can be seen with this little handheld microscope. The included slides are awesome but he's been venturing around and looking at household items and is amazed. There's very little setup required, instructions are easy to follow.

so chuffed with this that i bought 3! great gift for kids, comes with its own slides containing specimens to view in the microscope really clear views with zoom. the whole thing is easy to use and functions well for a pocket microscope. Small pocket size means its easily portable and frankly for this price represents a great value present.
