ION8 Leak Proof Water Bottle, 500ml (18oz), Blue

This 500ml bottle is a really handy size and easy to carry around. It’s lightweight but feels well made, and the leak-proof design is reassuring when throwing it into a bag. The size makes it practical for work, days out or keeping in the car. It’s versatile enough for everyday use, and the colour is nice and simple. It also does a good job of keeping drinks at a suitable temperature. Simple, useful and good quality for the price

Time and time again we buy kids bottles from Ion8 because they are really quality bottles. The lack of straw makes it much easier to clean and use and you don't get that sort of plasticy taste that some bottles leave you with. It doesn't leak because the silicon stopper at the top is quality but can be removed for cleaning and easily put back. Very durable product, our kids are constantly dropping it and where before we used to have to replace them due to cracking and damage from drops, the only time we have to replace bottles now is when we forget then somewhere.Definitely the most practical bottle for kids who need to use it every day for school or events.

These bottles are really good. Bought last year, they have survived school, walks, hikes, park visits, and all sorts without leaking once. The cap is easy to clean as there are no small holes and the seal can be removed (so no mould!). The cap is also easy to open, close and lock, even for kids using them. They also look good, although the camo one (the only one we bought with a stick on pattern) has started to peel a little. The white colour on the cap does also look a little worn, but that’s because it’s had so much use and abuse!Would definitely recommend, but would stay away from whites and stickers if you want them to stay looking good.

Staying hydrated throughout the day is essential, and having a reliable water bottle can make that task much easier. The Ion8 Water Bottle (500 ml/18 oz) promises to offer convenience, durability, and a variety of features designed to enhance the user experience. After testing it for several weeks, I can confidently say that this water bottle does indeed live up to its claims. While there are a few minor drawbacks, the Ion8 is a solid performer and offers great value for the price. Here’s my in-depth review of the product.Design & Build Quality (5 Stars)The Ion8 Water Bottle is designed with convenience and ease of use in mind, and it shows from the moment you take it out of the box. The first thing that stands out is the sleek, modern design. The bottle has a clean, minimalistic look with a sturdy build. It's made from BPA-free, food-safe plastic, ensuring that no harmful chemicals leach into your water. The color (in this case, blue) is vibrant and eye-catching, which adds a touch of personality without being too loud. The bottle’s compact size makes it easy to carry around, and it fits comfortably into most standard cup holders, whether you’re driving or heading to the gym. The carry handle is a nice touch, as it makes the bottle easy to grab and carry, even if you have your hands full. The overall build quality is robust, and the bottle feels solid in hand. I appreciate how lightweight it is, making it easy to toss into a bag without adding extra bulk. The bottle is dishwasher safe, which is a huge plus in terms of convenience, as you don’t have to worry about hand-washing it every time you use it.Leak-Proof and Secure Lock Feature (5 Stars)One of the standout features of the Ion8 water bottle is its leak-proof design. Whether you’re tossing it into your bag, carrying it on a hike, or throwing it into a gym bag, I never had to worry about any leaks or spills. The secure lock mechanism works flawlessly, providing peace of mind that the bottle won’t accidentally open and make a mess. The locking mechanism is simple but effective. You just need to push the button on the cap to release the lock, and it clicks into place securely. It’s intuitive and easy to operate with one hand, which is essential when you’re on the go.This feature makes it an excellent choice for active individuals or anyone who needs a reliable bottle for everyday use. Whether you’re commuting, exercising, or simply carrying it around at work, the leak-proof design ensures that you don’t have to worry about water soaking your bag or belongings.Hygienic Flip Cover (4.5 Stars)Another great feature of the Ion8 Water Bottle is its hygienic flip cover. The cover protects the drinking spout from dirt and bacteria, which is especially important when you’re carrying your bottle in a bag or backpack. The flip cover is easy to open with one hand, making it convenient for on-the-go hydration. While the flip cover is a great addition to the bottle, it does require a bit of force to open initially. Once you get used to it, however, it’s not a major issue. The flip cover stays securely in place when closed, so there’s no chance of it opening by accident.Ease of Cleaning (4.5 Stars)The Ion8 Water Bottle is incredibly easy to clean, especially since it’s dishwasher safe. I’ve used this bottle for several weeks now, and I haven’t had any issues with buildup or residue. The bottle’s design makes it easy to reach all the nooks and crannies, so you don’t need to worry about mold or mildew developing in hard-to-clean areas. However, I did notice that the narrow neck of the bottle can make it a bit tricky to clean by hand, especially when it comes to the cap. While it’s not a dealbreaker, it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer to hand-wash your bottles.Size and Portability (4.5 Stars)The 500 ml (18 oz) size of the Ion8 bottle is perfect for short trips, workouts, or daily hydration needs. It’s compact enough to carry around without feeling bulky, and it fits comfortably in most cup holders and backpack side pockets. For those who prefer larger water bottles, this size may not be enough for extended periods without refilling, but for daily use, it strikes a great balance between size and portability. The carry handle is another notable feature here. It makes the bottle easy to grab and take on the go, whether you’re heading to the gym or just running errands. It’s a small addition, but it makes a noticeable difference in terms of convenience.Carbon Neutral & Eco-Friendly (5 Stars)One of the most impressive aspects of the Ion8 Water Bottle is its commitment to being environmentally friendly. This product is carbon neutral, meaning the carbon footprint of its production and transportation has been offset, making it a more sustainable choice. In today’s world, eco-consciousness is an important factor, and it’s great to see that Ion8 is contributing to sustainability efforts.By choosing a bottle like this, you're not only helping reduce plastic waste but also supporting a company that prioritizes the environment. This aspect is certainly a major selling point for anyone looking to make more eco-friendly choices.Price vs. Value (4 Stars)In terms of price, the Ion8 Water Bottle offers great value. It’s competitively priced compared to other similar bottles on the market, and given the quality of materials, design, and features, it’s well worth the investment. The bottle’s durability, leak-proof design, and easy-to-use features make it an excellent option for anyone looking for a reliable water bottle. The eco-friendly aspect adds even more value, as it’s a product that you can feel good about purchasing. However, while the bottle is an excellent value overall, some may find it slightly expensive compared to basic plastic or metal bottles. That being said, if you’re looking for a product with more thoughtful design and additional features like leak-proofing and sustainability, the Ion8 is definitely worth the price.Minor DrawbacksAlthough the Ion8 Water Bottle has many positives, there are a couple of minor drawbacks that are worth mentioning. The narrow neck of the bottle, while great for preventing spills, makes it a little less convenient for adding ice cubes or mixing drinks. You’ll need to carefully slide the ice cubes in or use smaller pieces to make sure they fit.Additionally, the flip cover, while hygienic and practical, can take a little more effort to open initially. Over time, it does become easier, but this is something to consider if you prefer a smoother opening mechanism from the start.Final VerdictThe Ion8 Water Bottle is a great choice for anyone in need of a compact, reliable, and eco-friendly bottle for hydration. Its leak-proof design, hygienic flip cover, ease of cleaning, and commitment to sustainability make it a standout product in a crowded market. While the narrow neck and initial difficulty with the flip cover may be minor inconveniences, they don’t detract significantly from the bottle’s overall performance. If you’re looking for a high-quality, durable, and environmentally friendly water bottle that offers great value for the price, the Ion8 Water Bottle is a solid choice.

Excellent bottle. These last a long time and my kids love the colours, size and are very easy to use. Great for school, sports clubs and general every day use. My kids can open/close the lid and refill the bottle themselves and it never leaks.

Excellent, doesn’t leak daughter can access this bottle really easy. Has a lovely carry loop on top my daughter loves to hold to carry her bottle. She loves the butterfly design and shows it to all her friends and family as

Perfect for my daughter to take to school. She loves the colour and the easy to open top. Great to clean as no messing around with straws etc. Seems like it will last but only time will tell. Would buy again and recommend.

Great water bottle, really easy to clean and no silicon to go mouldy. Really like the spout size, it's robust and all around great. No leaks so far and it's been dropped once or twice but not cracked.

Great quality bottle! Does not leak, has multiple locks as well! My daughter is so happy with her Koala water bottle!

Bien adaptée aux jeunes garçons
