PREFACE: I’m someone who enjoys makeup, but I don’t like spending too much. So I’ll try to make my review as honest as possible. I’ll provide a short & long review depending on the type of buyer you are. SHORT REVIEW: Item is a good value for the price. Good pigment, removal requires a little extra effort, good wear time. Product does crease, dries fast, has a pleasant smell that I can’t quite name. Overall, have realistic expectations & you’re fine. ***IN-DEPTH REVIEW*** ITEM: Set B (warmer tones); 6 liners & 6 matte liquid lipsticks. IMAGE: I swatched them on my wrist. The numbers are the lip liners in the order they are in the package. To the right of those are the lipsticks. 2 swatches per lipstick, upper line is one coat, lower line is 2 coats. Took some in natural light, with flash, and in sunlight. PACKAGING: Packaging is pretty, love the holographic shift on the box. It’s nothing super fancy, but you’re paying $12.88; so humble yourself and have realistic expectations. SKIN TONE: This is for my POC that worry about shades that seem to be made with white-skinned consumers in mind. I’m a biracial young lady, so my skin is about a light/medium brown, my undertone is more warm. My skin tone is similar to peanut butter, caramel in the summer. I like these shades on myself & I have no doubt that it will look great on all skin tones dark to light. The first shade matches my natural lip color the best which I would say is a dusty pink. APPEARANCE: They have good pigment, I’m satisfied as a buyer. The color you see in the tube is almost exactly the same as when it dries. The only reason it looks different is bc in the tube it isn’t in it’s dried state. This matte lipstick does have creasing, but that’s what you get with a lot of matte cream products. You should expect this with this price-point, and I personally don’t mind the creasing too much. Creasing will be worse if you start with dry lips. CLEANING/REMOVAL: For me I had a difficult time removing after having it applied for maybe 5 min. I first tried with just water to test it’s ease, after scrubbing with that for a few secs it still pretty much looked fully intact. When I used some soapy remover it came off quickly and was a little messy, but that’s what happens when you remove makeup. Overall I say cleaning is about the difficulty you’d expect, it’s a matte lipstick; it’s going to take a little extra effort to remove. But it’s difficulty to remove plays well into the longevity of wear. LONGEVITY: Didn’t wear for long since I was just testing them all in one go. But they dried quickly on my lips (within 60 sec). Considering the effort it takes to remove, I imagine it would last quite well throughout your day without too much reapplication. I say that longevity greatly depends on your initial application. If you’ve done some moisturizing lip-care beforehand, then applied a regular coat, then allow it to SET before applying a 2nd coat, then it will last longer and feel more comfortable. If you were to begin with dry lips, rush the additional coat(s), and apply too much in a single coat, that’s when you get a tacky feel, clumping, inconsistency, etc. FEEL/TEXTURE: The texture is smooth, creamy as you apply and when it dries it’s y’know… dry. That’s what you get with matte lipsticks, so it’s no surprise. Matte product= no shine= dry. Value: Overall value I would say is good in general and for the price. Keep in mind I’m not an avid lipstick buyer, so I’m no expert, but I have a good enough knowledge of makeup to leave a decent review. I’d say if you’re someone who is realistic with expectations and understands you aren’t going to get these products at runway-model quality for 12 bucks, you’re good to go. A lot of people that leave negative reviews seem to be people who want a perfect product at the price of a penny. No product can do it all, but if this product doesn’t satisfy you, set realistic goals about what you’d like to spend and what you want to receive.

These are so beautiful, I like how you can bland. I am very impressed with how well they work. No need to keep applying, they stay on for long periods of time. They don’t smudge, great texture and permit sizes, easily store in makeup bag or in the purse. I also liked how they go on and I can add lip gloss to them to shine more and it keeps its color. They moisturizer some but not a lot. This set is definitely worth the price and the quality. Really pleased with this set. Definitely a great choice. Nice smooth brush for applying to the lips and lip liner works great too. Smooth

I usually use the Maybella Stay24 and it lasts all day, only need a touchup after lunch time. I was shopping for another color, but saw this set and read some previous user comments. Saw that someone said it really lasted a whole day, so I was excited. I wanted something close to my lip color, a neutral look, and although these are not exactly the lip color I wanted, some of them are close enough; the biggest drawback for me is that it fades completely. Like nothing left after lunch! The best thing about this is the PRICE (the same price as 1 Maybelline lip color I was using). So if you're okay with keeping reapplying it throughout the day... I'm staying with the Maybelline Stay24 brand.

I love the colors/shades this set of 3 (pair) comes in. I have attached photos (including color swatches of each liner and gloss). They all have great color payoff, are in full size containers, and glide on smoothly when applied. They don’t have a sticky feel and stay on for hours with only the need for touch ups - however, if you do not have perfectly smooth lips and there are some cracks, you will blatantly see them through the color. This is my only downside. Otherwise I would recommend them to anyone as they are a great value for the price point. Make sure to check out the pictures!

It comes with 12 liquid lipsticks and matching lip liners. The shades are gorgeous, including nude, mauve, pink, brown and berry red. Super pigmented with a soft velvet matte finish. They stay on really well and don’t transfer easily. Perfect for daily wear or parties, also a wonderful gift idea for ladies. Great value for money!

There's only one color i hate from this pack. Lol it's the purple looking one. My olive skin tone is not set up for that. But every other shade is GORGEOUS! and the liquid lipsticks are so creamy and rich like I'm beyond impressed for something so cheap! It's worth the money. In the picture I added a gloss cuz I usually hate having a flat color. I like glitter and shine. Truly though, they're great even without the gloss. The lip liners are the exact color of the lipsticks and my gosh how smart is that since these are so rich, you line your lips then stay inside the lines and straight perfection ensues. Just so everyone is aware my lips are beyond crooked so sorry if my picture looks unflattering. Otherwise this is an excellent formula I love it.

I just bought this for myself for Mother's Day because I really liked the idea of the lip colors having a specific lip liner that matches each one. I tried to judge the colors as well as I could from a picture. I think, let me say I wish, that every maker and seller of cosmetics understood seasonal color theory, and could describe the make up that people are getting based on those theories. Not only would it lead to a future of few to no wrong make up purchases and save customers money, because customers are happy with what they've bought, companies would get better reviews, and more return customers. Had they done that, I might've known that set B are warm colors. They don't work on me. My daughter can wear them, but my daughter barely ever wears make up. I have two colors in this box that I can somewhat get away with. They are quite dark, and I couldn't wear them during the day. That would be number four and number six. Super disappointing especially since I don't have a go-to manufacturer or seller who I know will sell me only things that will match my coloring. I'm cool summer! With regard to the physical qualities of lipstick, it really is nice to have the matching lip liner and lipstick. It will help you get a nice finished look. You should know that these lipsticks are not only matte, they actually dry on your lips a few minutes after application. You will need lotion, oil, or make up remover to take it off. On the plus side, it won't run, wipe off, or bleed easily. If, however, you already have a problem with dry lips, you'll need a moisturizing primer, and if you want a glossy look, you will need to apply one on top. I think that I was too impressed by the packaging of the lip liners with the lip colors because it's very unlike me not to pay closer attention than I did to where this is made, how it is made, or what is in it. From some of the Q&A's and reviews that I saw after the fact, it looks like perhaps I should have paid closer attention to this. Be a wise shopper, especially when things are going on or into your body. I can't return them, because in order to know if they worked, I had to try each one. Happy Mother's Day to me. 😕

I love these lipsticks and lip liners! They apply easily and stay on for hours. Some of the colors are fantastic but some are too bright on their own. However, I use a couple together to create my own shade.

I bought the 12Pcs Matte Liquid Lipstick + Lip Liner Pens Set a few months ago. These lipsticks are really cute but they do dry out your lips. The lip liners are good and creamy, which helps a bit with the dryness. What I usually do is line my lips with the lip liner, then put like three dots of the corresponding lipstick, and mix it all together. After that, I apply some Vaseline to moisturize my lips. I don’t fully put on the lipstick unless I’m going for a full lip gloss pigmented look. Usually, I go for a natural look with this set. There is lots of pigment in these lipsticks, so even a little goes a long way. If you're looking for long-lasting, waterproof lip color, this set is a good option, but be sure to keep your lips moisturized. I would recommend this as a cheap gift idea for birthdays or if you're going for a subtle look and plan to put some sort of moisturizing lip balm on top.
