Gave this to my 15yo niece. It's a fun easy little game that she was able to solve for her money. The whole family ended up trying to solve it as you can do it multiple times. The design was unique, different from other puzzle gift boxes, and the instructions was very easy to figure out. Its simple to set up as you just slip the money or gift card in.

I thought I'd purchase this for our 7yr old grandson as part of his birthday gift pkg. to give him money to purchase a game card. When we received the item, the back had a crack in it. We still gifted the item to him and was able to place money into the product as intended. No return since it was ordered too close to party date. No biggie. Despite the crack, it worked as intended but maybe packaging could have been better? It's a great idea to gift money to someone but maybe adults would enjoy it more. The 7 yr old just wasn't interested when it came down to opening his gifts. Good product overall and next time will gift to older person.

After reading a lot of the other reviews I was worried that this would be too easy for my son (8) and nephews (9, 11, 12). Uh... NOT at all! I accidentally put the wrong gift card in one of them so I was forced to 'solve' it myself on Christmas eve. Twenty-five minutes and multiple contortions later it popped open..lol! And yes, all I could think about the entire time was 'One lady said her 4 year-old did it in minutes...' I had to give myself a little pep talk to keep my self-esteem from plummeting! That said, the boxes are very cool. My 8 year-old needed a little guidance (the part with the three holes is a killer) but once he got it, he really got it... and proceeded to do it throughout the day. One of the nephews needed help, the other got it just fine after about 20 minutes, and the third asked for a hammer (denied.) Well worth the money. On a side note, one of the boxes I purchased was broken... a tiny piece inside broke off, which happened to be the piece that holds the tray inside. I emailed the company, they told me to toss it, then promptly issued a refund. Emails were returned on a Sunday! Excellent customer service.

Lots of fun..one person went for a hammer after many tries but someone else saved the day.

I bought this for my older nieces and nephews to receive money instead of gifts for birthdays and had intended to use it over and over again. My nephew worked the puzzle, which was complex but fun as I tried it a couple of times, and received his gift but when he closed it the latch broke off rendering it completely unusable, and of course outside of the return window. I'm just going back to gift envelopes as they're intended to be used only once.

Not a real hard puzzle for Adults, I was able to solve it in about ten minutes. Everything functioned properly. I think this is a great way to give the gift of money instead of a card. Even though I solved it fairly quickly I still had fun. I'm giving this as a gift to my 10 year old nephew and I think he will enjoy it. You do not have to solve the puzzle to put your money or gift card in, there is a slot on the side for that. I would recommend solving it though, just to make sure it functions properly. It is the exact size of a standard envelope so the money fits nicely. If you put the money in from the side you could fit about two bills (the slot is just the thickness of a gift card) and once it's in, its designed so it won't be able to be shaken back out. If you open it, the slot is a little larger and would fit more bills. It can be solved more than once and the construction in my opinion is solid

I got a gift card in this envelope and I had a really tricky time solving this while my brother figured it out in 5 minutes! They are resealable and really fun! Definitely recommend!
