Converted my old b and w zeppelin 30 pin to work via Bluetooth - easy to set up and great sound quality.

After years of listening to music through vinyl and CDs I thought I'd try streaming(was opposed to it,I thought it was a gimmick and a con).So I bought this little piece of magic.Im captivated,it streams perfectly to my Amp,the sound quality is superb,I read the reviews and saw some negative points on sound quality,but if Your playing through Good Equipment this Bt receiver shines.Well Worth The Money as an entry Level Streamer.Can Throughly Say Buy One Plug in n Play.Easy To Set Up And Enjoy.Amp-Cambridge AudioSpeakers-Bowers and Wilkins

This bluetooth receiver is a plug and play device. Just pair to your device, which took seconds and you are ready to go. My Astell&Kern DAP sounds brilliant through my Bose Acoustic via the aptx HD codec. I agree with previous comments, the audio output is low and I have to set my DAP and BOSE volume levels quite high, but thanks to the quality of the audio, there is no distortion. USB power cable is so short it is totally useless unless your power socket is right on top of your speaker so a much longer cable is needed. I have mine plugged into a small power bank and the drain is very low. An excellent piece of kit but with a few minor niggles.

Very nice portable bit of kit, great sound quality out of my old JBL’s better than a direct connection from my old Ipad with a 3.5mm output. Bluetooth range covers my house no problem unlike an expensive set of Bluetooth headphones that can only manage 4 ft..The only downside is that it needs a REALLY GOOD 5V power supply, pity they don’t supply one with it as any fluctuations will be heard, mains hum in particular. Run it off a USB power bank and it’s fine.Really worth the money.

20/08/24 update.I've had direct contact from the company and they have been brilliant in seeking feedback and they have offered a full refund upon return of this item. I am going to keep it as it serves a purpose albeit my disappointment with the sound quality. If I find a solution like for instance a pre amp solution I'll add a further update.They've informed me that they have passed my feed back to their R and D dept.Very refreshing to see that they value their customers and so when they do make an update to this product I'm very likely to try it.My opinions of the sound quality haven't changed but I'm happy with the response I've had which I never expected to be honest. Credit where it's due guys.I've had this unit which I use with a Bose Wave speaker for a couple of months now.I have a high Res player built into my phone that I stream from.I expected this device to be considerably better than it is. The sound quality is a bit flat. It's mediocre at best. The output is low and it seems like it could do with a pre amp to boost the signal. I have to turn up the volume on the Bose to around 70% to get any decent out put.Connection by Bluetooth is quick and easy and it has allowed me to be able to bring some extra usability to the Bose Wave. But I am somewhat disappointed with the performance overall. It's not very dynamic. When I use any of my high Res audio earbuds or headphones with my phone the sound quality is brilliant. The separation is great, the clarity, base everything is great. So its not my phone. Other inputs to the Bose sound great by the 3.5mm input which I'm using from this device to the Bose Wave. It's just this device that's poor. As I said, I believe it's down to the input signal being low. So I thought about sending this device back to Amazon to be fair. I've kept it only for the convenience of using the Bose like a Bluetooth speaker but I am on the lookout for something better. I'm afraid I can't recommend this product.

Great little gadget.It connected to my aux port on my Nad amp used a cable I already had as it needed twin port plugs then used a usb plug turned the amp to aux. My iPhone picked it up on Bluetooth instantly in seconds i was playing from Spotify!!So my old amp has a new lease of life.

Got this to try and play music library on my Android phone through my Sonos amp. It worked! So I can once again listen to my collection despite Google & Sonos trying to force us to use streaming. The sound quality is very good and it was easy to connect. I had to buy the correct cable though, it didn't come with the correct one.

Great piece of kit. The sound quality is tops.
