Oral-B Satin Dental Floss, Comfort Grip, Mint, 2pk (50m Each)

I love popcorn, but it always gets stuck in my teeth. I have tried many different kinds of floss, but like this one the best. My teeth are pretty tight and this is the first that doesn't cut my gums. I suppose it could if you are not careful, but it has never happened to me. I love the mint taste and the smooth waxed satin string. It sometimes frays, but is inexpensive, does a great job, and last much longer than most of the flosses that I have used. I am at an age and have medical preconditions that make traveling to grocery stores unsafe in this era of the coronavirus. So, I ordered 5 two-pack dispensers from Amazon and they arrived in two days. I recommend this product to family, friends, and others looking for an inexpensive, yet effective dental floss. Enjoy!

Love this floss because it is thick. I hate the flimsy floss the dentist gives you for free. I want something thick and luxurious.

I got a sample of this from the Dentist and was hooked. For me it cleans my teeth so much better than Oral B Glide. In addition to that, some of my teeth are tight and I tended to break the Glide floss in two pieces. This Satin floss does tend to shred a little more than Glide but I've never had it break in two like I often did with the Glide. Switched about 4 months ago. Update July 2020 (after almost 18 months daily use) I still love this floss and use it exclusively every day. It consistently cleans my teeth very well and does not break in two pieces. It's never caused any cuts or bleeding. I like that it does not have the teflon like waxy feel to it like many of the other floss. It does occasionally shred some in my tight areas but I will gladly take that over breakage and that waxy slick feel.

My periodontist told me NOT to use glide as it does not clean off the bacteria as well as the satin floss. I switched floss and we could see the difference at my next dental cleaning. I and my family produce plaque and have gum disease. Fortunately I get cavities very rarely. As for the floss, it does the job. I do not go into the gum but instead around each tooth on the side of the tooth gently lifting and cleaning. I hit the gum gently in order not to damage the tissue. I got a whole lesson on how to use the stuff and the satin floss works much better to clean of the plague off my teeth. Not a five star as there is nothing that special but a solid 4 or 4 1/2 stars for a product that works well and that is very reasonably priced.

This is my favorite dental floss. It slides easily between my teeth for pain-free flossing. I have a couple crowns and a couple rough fillings, and this floss does not snag or shred at all. It is strong enough that it doesn’t come apart while I’m using it, and the flat thread does not cut into my fingers when I have it wrapped around them. Additionally, the way the floss is inserted into the container is perfect: The floss comes out smoothly and is easily snipped by the cutter. Other brands have popped out of the container when I’m trying to pull out the floss, and that would result in the entire roll falling to the floor. The minty flavor is just an added bonus! I have tried generic versions of this dental floss, but I always return to the original.

I personally hate dental floss like that. Wrapping it around my fingers and then inserting them in my mouth to clean each tooth feels disgusting to me. I stopped putting my fingers in my mouth after sucking on my thumb... I instead use floss with a handle and I am perfectly satisfied with it. On the other hand, my wife loves this stuff and hates the floss with handles. So I order those exclusively for her. Here is why she loves it: - Long (almost 50 yards) - Resistant - Able to catch dirt - 2 per package makes for a better deal. In conclusion: 5 stars.

Me llegaron muy rápido y aunque el diseño del empaque cambia un poco respecto a cuando lo compro en el súper, mantiene la resistencia y el efecto “satín” que necesito. ¡También el precio es más barato!

Took long to reach but great product

Mi hilo dental favorito, casi no lo encuentro en ningún lado, afortunadamente Amazon lo tiene casi todo. Esta presentación de 50 metros por carrete es muy rara, lo recomiendo y está al mejor precio.
