A really user friendly product, that works well.
I bought this on a whim because it was so reasonably priced. I figured if it was terrible I wouldn’t be out enough money to bother me.This thing is so interesting and easy to use. My first thought was about Birthdays or Christmas. No kids could resist using it to examine everything. The phone clip was a disappointment but it was due to my phone (iPhone 15 Pro Max) having multiple lens and it automatically switches lens and doesn’t work. Even when used on devices with a single lens, it works, but it’s not user friendly imo.

Great beginner microscope!
Love this little pocket microscope. I have been having a blast exploring all kinds objects, surfaces and textures with this little thing. Given its price, I wasn't expecting much in terms of image or build quality but I'm happy to say it's well built and has a really sharp/clear image. The zoom is also great. My only two nitpicks are that sometimes the light can be a bit too bright and reflects off whatever you are trying to view, distorting the image. It would be nice if it had brightness control for the light. This can be somewhat alleviated by using a dark background through. Second, the cell phone lens clip is pretty much useless. I think it could work okay on some smaller phones with a specific camera placement but for my Galaxy S23 Ultra it did not work very well. I had better luck just pointing my camera at the eye lens manually.I would still recommend this product though, it's great for beginners and people who are interested into getting into microscopy. Buy the one without the clip though as it is cheaper. A steady tripod would work better if you're really interested in taking photos

More fun that a traditional microscope
Great toy for looking at stuff on the go. More so, and much easier to use than a traditional microscope with slides etc. My son would run around at look at grass leaved fiber on cloth.... It was a very free form toy for him. This is not a cellular level microscope that magnification isn't that high. Its reasonable tough. I wouldn't chick it at a wall but it will survive floor and outside drops. The built in light was bright even indoors (its doubled as a flashlight a few times) and the focus physically setting it on something was very clear. I'd honestly get one as an adult for things things that interest me on a hiking or fishing trip.

Microscope
Works great to check tri's. Tried a few different handhelds and this is by far the best cheap option, better than loupes too. Only drawback is that it's really hard to get footage without removing plant matter(you'll c). Great cheap option tho, it gets the job done.

Didnt work.
Didn't work as expected. It was difficult even for me to use let alone my kid. This is very sensitive and causes eyes strain. Pretty disappointed. I would not recommend this item.

Not for slides
I was trying to use this to look at slides, and it really isn't ideal for the purpose.1. Magnification is way too high. If you are trying to look at a specific thing, it is almost impossible to find it at 60x.2. The bottom plastic ring/stand gets in the way - you can't look at slides without pressing the plastic mount against the coverslip. You can remove the plastic ring with 4 small screws, but then the microscope isn't that well balanced.3. Lighting isn't great for slides - but that's just the nature of a pocket microscope like this with top lighting.battery will probably last a very long time unless you leave it on.Overall though, if you want to look at stuff like wood/leaves/rocks, it's pretty easy to use to see fine details on a large homogenous object; if you want to look at something specific, there are probably better options.

my husband likes it
i bought this for my husband back in January and he loves it . he does lab work regularly , and this is by no means comparable to a full on microscope but can be handy for casually examining things . the phone clip was useful for him , it’s portable , the light on it is strong , and the image quality is decent . The attached photo is from one of his textbooks or something . Super cute little thing . I also bought glass slides and coverslips for him to use , they’re not necessary for this , but they make viewing things easier rather than having to position the microscope and hold it steady . I’d recommend this for someone new to microscopy to get used to the lighting, focusing, and viewing process or someone who is already familiar with and ENJOYS microscopy so they can just look at stuff up close .

Touchy. Not very good but better than nothing.
Just not impressed

Great gift
Requires some skill to use. Could be difficult for a small kid, if it's a bit difficult for an adult like me with no microscopic experience. Otherwise, it's great.

Pequeno no tamanho, eficiente no trabalho!

It was a gift
Recipient has fun with it and it seems to work well. The phone clip poses a little problem.

It works!
I honestly bought this with little expectations, but after using it, I am thrilled that it works quite well. Tested on different items and it’s just brilliant! Definitely enjoy using it even as a parent. The only downside is that it feels cheap and plasticky. I don’t mind as much though as it’s portable and lightweight for kids to bring it anywhere they go.In conclusion, I personally think it’s worth the money and hope that it’s durable enough to last for a long time lol.
