(£42.49 Jul 2023) I have an OLD 90's Tandy/Radio Shack multimeter my dad bought that still works, but the readings were significantly different from the 4yrs+ and 1yr+ old cheap chinese ones. Time to get something that can be trusted. Who or what are Kaiweets? I didn't know who they were - I knew who Fluke are, but Kaiweets? No chance. Well, now I know. They were highly rated by multiple reviewers on that video website and for ~£40ish quid, they were worth a try. In the 90's you had heard of Fluke, but you couldn't justify buying one unless you were in the trade. Now you can. Bought this to pair with a nice new Fluke 17B+ (~£140) as the cheap chinese ones were going out now. The Kaiweets voltage readings were consistently the same as or differed by 0.01% from the Fluke - that is OUTSTANDING and I did not expect that. I was ready to throw the cheap chinese meters away - not the Tandy! It has a calibration potentiometer inside, and is carrying the torch onwards again. Opened up the cheap chinese one, which to be fair, looks good and has a great screen, and it too also had a calibration potentiometer inside - what dya know? Would not have been surprised if it had been factory calibrated and the potentiometer skipped to save 3p in manufacturing costs. All old meters calibrated to Fluke standards and all is well. Really impressed with this meter. It has some great functions that others do not have and it's accuracy is fantastic at this price range, only gripe is how many times you have to press the selector button but seriously, it's not a gripe, it's an observation, because, anything that can be in the conversation of a Fluke at fourty odd quid demands respect and admiration. If you need a multimeter, just get the Kaiweets. Seriously. If you want a Fluke more than you need it, get a Kaiweets. If you still want the Fluke, get both - now you can drop one and not be saddened as it hits the floor, or you might be with either of them to be honest.

Great for the money easy to use

Works well for the repair tech (shout out for Learn Electronics Repair on Youtube who did a good look at it). I feel this is better than the non rechargeable version because the terminals are accessible when the meter is propped up on it the case. I don't like the step through buttons - eg the selector button feels sluggish to me - personally I would much rather have an "old fashioned" rotary dial and smaller display (ala Fluke) but for a decent meter that at least trebles the price. If you want something that works, beeps in the correct places and is good value, you can't do much better than this.

Never heard of the brand, but took a punt. I needed a meter as I've gotten into Arduino and circuit building. First impressions are that this a very good (low voltage/electronics) meter. I've barely tested it out yet, just tried the LCV test, and it works fine. As a non expert, I am loving the fact that the terminals light up to show you what needs to be connected where. A feature I didnt plan for that will save me countless headaches probably. It has every mode you need and more. All the usual measurements, and surprisingly frequency. It has an automatic and manual mode selection. Auto (idle) shutdown is also provided. The display is incredibly good. The mode indicator is a little over-fancy but I actually quite like it :D It's plenty bright. The controls are fine and pretty simple. The whole unit is nice in the hand, not featherweight. It's cased in a hard rubberised plastic, and provides extra protection with included (decent) case. It even has a torch built in, but it's not great - I wont be using it to escape from dark caves. I still have to check the general accuracy of the device etc, but I don't feel like I'll be returning to moan about that. I'm not working at NASA, it'll be fine I'm sure. Overall I'm very pleased in the quality for the price and I expect it to last me a while from the impression I get. Mine even came with a fully charged battery. Recommended.

Great multimeter.

I'd previously read that these DMMs are inaccurate little "toys", but I have checked mine against known standards and it's pretty good! The display is great, and battery life seems to be good so far. The default "Auto" function can be a bit annoying to use, but the readings are very fast when in manual mode.

Conservando el aspecto clásico de un multímetro aporta calidad de medición, una gran pantalla en color retroiluminada (Es un LCD inverso retroiluminado en blanco con una plantilla de color superpuesta, no una pantalla TFT, una solución simple y muy fiable). No era yo muy fan del modo automático antes de probarlo, pero el caso es que el 95% de las veces es mas que suficiente. No sé vosotros, pero yo lo que más mido es voltaje, resistencia y continuidad, que es precisamente lo que detecta el modo automático y no tienes que andar con la rueda de un lado a otro entre lecturas, eso se agradece. Se oye un pequeño relé al cambiar al modo de continuidad, es normal y hasta me gusta. Importante: NO usar mientras se carga, peligro de fundir el circuito. Los fusibles son fácilmente intercambiables quitando la tapa trasera. Al usar una pila de litio recargable te olvidas de las pilas. El cable para recargarlo es un cable especial propietario, USB por un lado y un mini jack de 2,5 mm por el otro, hay que tener cuidado de no perderlo sino te tocará hacer bricolaje. Habría sido mejor que el conector fuese un USB-C, pero bueno, tampoco es realmente un problema. Viene todo en un estuche acorde al tamaño del multímetro donde caben perfectamente todos los cables. se agradece. Con un completo manual en castellano explicando claramente y al detalle cada tipo de medición, bien hecho ! La precisión de las mediciones está muy bien para un multímetro en este rango de precios. Tiene todo tipo de mediciones y modos esperables en multímetros pro, incluso el modo NCV, una pequeña linterna trasera, medición de temperatura del polímetro y mediante sonda de tipo K hasta 1000ºC, indicador visual y sonoro de continuidad (no emite un molesto pitido como otros, sino un suave tono, muy de agradecer). Las sondas que lleva son de buena calidad, incluso llevan un aislante de quita y pon para las puntas que deja al descubierto solo unos milímetros de la punta, muy útil para mediciones problemáticas. Los conectores de las sondas se iluminan al cambiar de modo indicando donde se deben conectar. Si conectas una sonda en el enchufe de corriente, se bloquea al modo de corriente en pantalla para que no cometas errores, muy listo. La gran pantalla en color, la rapidez de sus mediciones y su aspecto sobrio hacen que hasta los no entendidos se interesen por el aparato. Compré este modelo en vez del K602 que es todo pantalla porque prefiero enchufar los cable en el frontal, ver claramente los botones y me gusta más la forma de los números de esta pantalla que no están artificialmente alargados como en el 602 y se leen mejor. En general, requiere menos espacio para operarse que el 602, se puede poner de pie y lleva soporte integrado. En este caso y a mi modo de ver, el diseño clásico es el vencedor aunque ambos, el 601s y el 602 tengan prestaciones similares. En definitiva, un multímetro muy completo, de aspecto y prestaciones profesionales, con una pantalla muy chula, a un precio razonable. Me alegro de haberlo comprado.

Après plusieurs utilisations, je suis très satisfait du multimètre KAIWEETS KM601S. C’est un appareil complet, moderne et fiable, qui reste simple à prendre en main grâce à son mode automatique intelligent. Les mesures sont rapides et cohérentes, et l’écran couleur rétroéclairé est très lisible, ce qui apporte un vrai confort, même dans des conditions de travail moins idéales et sans oublier la lampe au dos de l'appareil. La détection de tension sans contact (NCV) fonctionne très bien sur les fils apparents, ce qui est pratique et sécurisant pour repérer rapidement une phase. Sur les prises murales, la détection est plus limitée, mais cela est tout à fait normal à cause de l’isolation et du mur, et ne remet pas en cause la qualité de l’appareil. La batterie rechargeable est un vrai plus au quotidien, évitant l’utilisation de piles et rendant le multimètre toujours prêt à l’emploi. Je trouve qu’il est tout à fait adapté même pour un petit électricien ou un artisan qui cherche un multimètre polyvalent et sûr, sans investir dans un modèle professionnel très haut de gamme. Pour un usage domestique, de dépannage ou de chantier léger, le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. C’est un outil fiable, pratique et efficace, que je recommande sans hésiter.

Excelente producto llegó bien

Confrontato con altri 3 multimetri in possesso di marche blasonate s'é rivelato il più preciso in tutte le sezioni di misura. Per chi lamenta la visibilità del display non hanno capito che é stato progettato per essere visto a 45° appoggiato sul tavolo e la sua visibilità é perfetta. Ottimi materiali e fattura. Eccellente la doppia modalità di rilevazione del campo elettrico (fase) sia di prossimità con sensore lato superiore DIREZIONALE oppure di precisione tramite puntale (leggete il manuale prima di recensire). La modalità AUTO non é per tutte le misurazioni (leggeteli i manuali!). In modalità manuale la velocità di lettura é fulminea mentre in modalità auto impiega tempo giustamente e sulla componentistica a volte non intuisce quale rilevazione deve eseguire quindi selezionate manualmente e non sbagliate. Due anni fà acquistai il modello analogo ma a batterie (che ancora funziona perfettamente) mentre questo ha una batteria ricaricabile, é stata aggiunta la staffa sul retro ed i connettori puntali più comodamente sopra. Per chi reclama il rumore del relè LEGGETE I MANUALI che ve l'hanno messo grande ed in italiano: c'é una procedura di autocalibrazione presente anche sul video dell'inserzione. É arrivato con batteria all'80% quindi fresco di produzione: per chi lamenta che non carica DOVETE ASPETTARE ! La percentuale di carica non é lineare ma a sezioni quindi dall'80% il prossimo step sarà 100% Anche i puntali sono di ottima fattura. Provato a ricaricare con caricabatterie Samsung con protocollo PD (Power delivery) e viene accettato. Questo multimetro é eccellente e chi ha recensito negativamente non lo sà usare o meglio non dovrebbe proprio usare un multimetro. Allego video e foto dimostrative.
