Well you can see from the picture it doesn't fit right. The one side fits nice and the other there is a huge gap. I thought maybe I placed it wrong but there is no room for it to move. Judging by the fit I wouldn't trust the protective functionality. When I saw this I liked the fact that it said you could keep it on while charging but I'd rather spend slightly more to get full protection even if I have to take it out of the case to charge it. For the price of the product it's supposed to protect it is not worth the risk.

This item does do what it’s supposed and now I can clip my earbuds case to my bag for a reasonable price. However the only thing holding the case in place is two little pieces of tape in the middle of the top and bottom of the case. The case pulls away at all the sides. I’m concerned one day the case will catch, and come off causing me to lose my earbuds. I may end up super gluing it on in a few more places to secure the fit. In the meantime the key chain will only be clipped to the inside of my bag. I guess I got what I paid for.

It's a nice easy to put on case. I tend to drop small items and of course my earbuds, so this truly came in handy for scuffing. I like that this will also keep my buds clean , seeing as how either on black or white oily hands will make these matte colors shiny and icky. Great value for your money to save your sonys

This case allows you to charge the earbuds without removing from the case and it hooks on to your pants or bag. It's very useful.

I have been using this for maybe a bit over a month now. So the case actually stays on with a sort of adhesive, which doesn't stick to the sides of the case, just the very top and very bottom. The side that connects to the keychain pulls off of the case very easily, but never comes off of the case all the way. I bought this because I had issues with dropping my earbuds case and the earbuds flying out all over the floor. This definitely helped a ton, I think it softens the impact and stops it from popping open, but also because it's connected to my keys, and I don't usually keep my keys in my pocket or anything. Not like there are better case options for this specific model of earbuds, unfortunately. It works fine though.
