Varta Longlife LR06 Alkaline AA
Varta Longlife regularly place 1st in battery life testing, although it's neck and neck with Duracell most of the time. I just buy whichever is the cheaper option usually. I do prefer the Varta for being made in Europe (Germany) generally, but if Duracell are on offer I buy them instead.

So Far So Good
So far so good. The batteries seem to perform their role well but I am still in the early stages of their usage and cannot therefore say very much regarding their longevity for example. I am using them mainly on remote controls, my Hive thermostats, small torches and home alarm components. All going well so far with these good value AA batteries.

Fed up with Dura-wotsits not lasting as long as they used so and these are not made in PRC!! :-)

Better than expected!
Ordered these for a kitchen bin that needs 6 batteries at a time. So far they have outlasted the last batch (a market leader which is considerably more expensive) by 2 months and are still going strong. Good, economical option.
