301012 Concrete Patch & Repair, 24 oz, Gray

This product was great. It was rather easy to mix, fill, and level out. I used it before doing my rock solid garage concrete flooring, and it did a great job filling cracks. I would recommend picking up some quikrete concrete repair and filling large holes or cracks first, once they cure, grind them smooth, and then go over the top of them with this. This rustoleum crack filler was great for sealing in the quickrete, and filling in cracks. It sanded down nicely and easily to get rid of the raised edge from application. I used a soft applicator, an old auto body filler type one to mix, and apply. That worked well for scraping most access off and also being flexible around areas that weren’t exactly level. After sanding this product down, and applying the rock solid polycuramine floor coat, I couldn’t see this product through it. In reviews, and videos that you can, I think they either didn’t sand it or maybe didn’t apply the floor coat thick enough. I used the light gray floor coat kit, this stuff applies gray, so could also be part of why you can’t see it. Overall I am very satisfied. I have plenty left over also so I can help friends with their garages now that they have seen how mine turned out. I recommend only mixing a little at a time. If you run out you can just simply mix more. I used 1 popsicle sticks per container to grab it out and the soft applicator to mix and finally apply it. I wouldn’t recommend using a hard putty knife and grabbing some out of one can, and dipping into the next with a dirty knife and mixing it like that. I saw that on several videos. When you go back to use it in the future I’d imagine there will be rocks or something of activated material mixed in. The packaging says this can also be used to help anchor in screws into masonry, so I will be saving this as a future tool/ trick to help get a job done. Epoxy bond to concrete is tenacious. Cured coating is tough and durable. Working time is adequate. Clean and dry your starting holes or cracks before applying epoxy. Don't do too large an area with one mixing. Start with a smaller area (<20 sq. inches) and see if you can get it applied smoothly. Use a light concrete colored sand to sprinkle over the repaired area while the epoxy is curing. This will give you a better looking and an anti-slip surface to your repair. Sweep off excess sand coating after the epoxy is cured.

Wow what a very Amazing product. First let me say that I am Not a professional contractor. I am just your everyday handyman and so over the decades I have used a few products that would promise you the world but this is one of the few times that the products has exceeded the marketing department. Hats off to,those brilliant engineers that are responsible for creating this product. In fact I personally think that Rust-Oleum should at least triple the pay of all of those very intelligent men and women that worked on developing this. I used it for some crack repairs but a lot of it and I used 5. - 24 oz batches of it to put a skim coat on some existing painted concrete the was in doors. The deepest repair I had was no more than 1/4 inch deep and within 4 to 6 hours it was very hard and and after 24 hours it was hard as a rock. I decided to sand it a little bit so the floor paint that I put over it had a little something to hold on to and now it is still looking great. Thanks so much again for such a great product

Was going to epoxy coat my floor with a more industrial epoxy than what Rust Oleum offers, but honestly couldn't find a product to patch that looked easy to work with, so I thought I would give this one a try. Not disappointed at all. However some prep and careful use is needed. First off, it applies well after mixing and honestly is more "liquidy" than I thought it was going to be, which worked to my advantage, definitely not for vertical surfaces only things on the ground. It applied nice and lasted long enough for me to "play" with it to get the shape and coverage I needed. I successfully epoxy coated my floor after this and the best looking parts were the parts that had this patch on it. However again proper prep is needed. After letting this product cure overnight I sanded this product down with 100 sand paper. I then vacuumed it all up and etched the entire surface (HCl)....not sure if it helped on this product but that's what I did and it worked out. I would say there is slight "shrinkage" and if I was going to do it over I would def "bubble" up some on the pockets that were actual craters. I actually used this product to recreate a nice line at my relief cut too, which was a huge success as I had a big crack on the cut that had a lot of material missing. Would have been five stars if no shrinkage. But honestly I'd give it 4.5 if I could. See photos for before and after on my relief cut fix

Very expensive for the small amount of product but works excellent. Not intended for large projects unless you can afford it. Gasoline will dissolve it even after its cured if it's spread too thin over a patch.

This product is fantastic! I tried several concrete patch products and none of these lasted very long. This Rust-Oleum has held up rolling pallets up to 3,000lbs of weight over it many times. I rarely write a review on anything.

Works well for filling cracks and is tough to damage when dry.

This product worked well. We might have applied it in neater patches, however it repaired the floor well.

Easy to use. Patches on garage floor are very solid and no more rain leaking into garage. We will see about long term durability in the Canadian winters.

nous avions plusieurs fissures au plancher et des endroits ou le ciment avait écailler ou légérement brisé... le tout est devenu Solide en très peu de temps, ont comptes même l'utilisé si jamais nous avons des problèmes avec le plancher d'Époxy à la longue. très bon produit. une fois sec, sabler légèrement avant d'appliquer l'Époxy.
