HTC Vive VR Memory Face Foam Replacement 6mm. Comfortable Pu Leather Cushion Pad, Increased FOV. 2 Pack

I received these in the mail in great packaging as seen in the pictures. I will be using the nice individual bags for other things, they are zip lockable for easy reuse. I also appreciated the lint free screen cleaner rag they sent with it. Very professional and arrived very quickly, 2 day prime and was here in about 30 hours. They fit on the headset easy and comfortable. As shown in the pictures, they make a huge difference being slimmer and still very comfortable. I have an extra one for a backup or may even let a friend use if they want to try it for themselves. I was very annoyed with the very thick one that came with it and you would think all that extra padding would make it more comfortable for long term use... but this new thin one is actually more comfortable and with extended use. I use for multiple hours and I have no face numbness or pressure pain like I did previously. If you are thinking of trying something new and better for your vive, you cannot beat this value. I had ordered original more expensive ones that were thicker thinking they would be better than these thinner ones but after doing that and not getting any better results, I decided to try these. I wish I would of done these first because they are exactly what is needed and should ship with the vive in my opinion. Note that although my pictures show the advanced audio headset, I was using on the original before upgrading the head strap and it worked great on either head strap unit. But I would strongly suggest to upgrade to the new head strap with audio built in, they are amazing and a must for anyone who plays VR. Disappoints me that it did not come with the vive originally and I had to pay another 100$ for it, which it shouldn't cost that much but you definitely need it. Either which way, these face pads are amazing and I highly recommend to anyone looking for more comfortable ones that also increase your POV for playablity.

I bought these masks for use during my 45 minute or so daily Beat Saber sessions. I am very happy with them. They don't soak up sweat like the foam masks. Didn't notice any discomfort after an hour. The headset being that close to your face feels a little weird at first, but it actually makes the weight distribute more evenly on your head. Definitely increased field of view to the point that there is a significant increase in immersion. It doesn't completely erase the blind spots, but it's probably the best you can get without buying a brand new headset. The mask is bigger than the face of the headset, so it hangs off the edges, but it doesn't cause any problems. I don't wear glasses and I can definitely see glasses wearers having a problem with this since when using it my eyes are basically right up against the HMD lenses. At first I thought $20 was a little expensive for two pleather masks, but they are high quality, and $20 is a low price for increased FOV and immersion. The only thing I would add is the tab in the middle of the stock masks that lines up with the headset. But it's not a big enough problem for me to take off a star, and since I don't have to switch the masks out nearly as often as I used to, it's not really a problem,

As the headline states I was really concerned regarding the selling price of the cushions, but I still wanted a different cushion rather than the Stock cushions you get with your HTC VIVE. So I gave it a try and ordered the 2-pack for my HTC VIVE and shipping was obviously quick and without issues. When I got my hands on them and literally looked at them I was like "damn they sure are thin" as I compared them to the stock onces. I replaced my old cushion with the new thinner version and when i put on the headset and tighten it down, I then booted up VRChat and got my full body set and oww boy was it a massive difference. Not only did it feel way better than the stock one, but I could instantly tell a 20% fov increase, and everything looked even clearer cause my eyes was obviously closer to the lenses now and also the space you got to peek between your nose is now covered which makes it even better. I was surprised of how well they felt and how little facial sweat I had after my 4/5 hour play session. I thought this was just some overpriced product that someone put up on Amazon but ow boy was I wrong, the price is obviously worth it in my opinion and I'm very happy with it. I want to be realistic and give it a 4/5 and I'm glad to say this is easy to clean and I couldn't feel any form of sweat building up on the cushion after my play session from using it. We have only had our new foam pad replacements for about a week, however, the difference it has made to the overall experience is well worth the cost of this product. It arrived the day after it was ordered, and was installed within 10 minutes of arrival (installation was simple and required less than a minute before it was ready to go). The only complaint I have heard is from my youngest... he wears glasses normally, but they do not fit under the new pads. He doesn't have to wear his glasses while playing, so this is not a real issue for us; however, if you rely on glasses for your game play, be aware that they most likely will not fit under this new pad. Ease of installation, comfort of use, ease of cleaning, the removal of discomfort from putting a soaked pad against your skin from the previous user (okay... I am the worst sweater, so this is more important for everyone else) all add up to five stars in my book. Would I order again? Definitely. Can I recommend to others? In a heartbeat! And now to see if they stand up to the test of time...

This is an amazing product. I have purchased other Vive replacement face cushions, and these worked perfectly. I can report that you can use glasses with them. They are a bit tight when setting them in however, I do have wide glasses. I really enjoyed how far they extend over the outside edge to keep the plastic from rubbing on your forehead. Also, the leather is of a great quality and for me, it helped with sweat and keeping the headset cool and comfortable.

The grossest thing about vr is the cold sweaty foam face plate. It's coarse and makes sharing vr a gross experience. These replacements make vr clean and comfortable, the sweat all drips off of your face, which is better because the face pads wipe clean in a second. Also it came with a little lens cleaner rag, which has been helpful.

I purchase these with the hope that it would improve my field of view in fallout 4. The closer the eye is to the lenses, the lees it feels like your looking through binoculars. Which it does slightly. It is comfortable, but not as comfortable as the foam in my opinion. After playing and getting sucked in 1+ Hours in fallout, it starts to hurt my face and does leave red marks on my face and almost gives me a very slight rugburn kind of feeling. I do sweat less with this. I would not recommend for games that you will be moving around a lot and or playing for a while. Other then that the quality seems good and it’s easy to clean.

These work perfect. Easy to install and have great construction and easy to clean. Increases FOV, reduces sweat (especially when sharing with others) and are comfortable. I find they grip your face better so the headset won’t shift around at all. May leave some marks on your face after a long sessions but they go away pretty quick. Because they are thinner than the OEM foam those with glasses may find their glasses touch the lenses with the thinner face foam but the Vive makes it easy to adjust to adjust the lens-to-eye distance.
