This Just Works
I had a bad case of BGA in one of my tanks and after reading other reviews decided to give this a go. I did a water change an removed the worst of the algae off the gravel and tank walls but it was also all over the plants and bogwood. I then added the first dose and a second dose after 48 hrs as advised on the instructions (mix with tank water and then add slowly) After a few days the effect was very noticeable and within a week everything was gone. I have since added a single dose to 2 of my other tanks as signs were starting and a second dose was not needed. This stuff is not cheap (ยฃ18 at the time of purchase) for the amount you get (small vial of powder) but it works so it was worth the money, I still have a small amount left after 2 doses in a 125l tank and 1 dose in a 450l and 80l tanks but I would not hesitate to order again.

It works!
I was skeptical of getting this as it seemed like another โquick fixโ for BG algae. I wish Iโd have taken before and after pictures because it has worked so well. Iโve just added a 2nd dose to target the stubborn bits. Very impressed so far.

Brilliant
It cleared the blue algae in my aquarium when other products had failed. Highly recommended.

Finally Beat Stubborn BGA in My Planted Tank
I've had ongoing issues with blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) in my planted tanks for years and nothing seemed to work. I was pretty sceptical when I tried this product, especially since my latest tank was completely overrun and nothing I tried before had any effect whatsoever - I genuinely thought it was beyond saving with thick BGA covering every surface imaginable. It took three treatments of this product to fully clear up the problem, but the results were impressive. The BGA is gone, and my plants and fish werenโt adversely affected at all - the BGA is yet to return! I followed the dosing instructions carefully and introduced a powerhead to increase water flow which might have helped too. The instructions warn of the product depleting oxygen levels, but I added an air stone to my planted tank and all was fine. If you're dealing with persistent BGA and feel like you've tried everything, this is definitely worth a shot. Just be patient and consistent with the dosing. BGA gone ๐ชด๐ but now to deal with the next type of algae - exciting times ๐

Well, it works....
I bought this because I got a slightly annoying BGA outbreak in my newly set up tank, which is pretty common, but I was worried that it was going to ruin all of my plants as it can starve them of light. After some research on the internet and confirming that there's not really any fish that will touch cyano, I decided to give this a go. I was slightly hesitant because it's very pricey and it took a few weeks to arrive (no, I don't know why its not available in the UK either). Well, I used it as advised and after the first dose there was no change so I re-dosed two days later. Within a few days after the second dose, I noticed that it seemed to be dying off/turning a bit brown, and within a week of that second dose, it seems to be gone (almost completely). It has completely vanished from the plants (especially my moss, which was really badly affected), the substrate, and the rocks, although there is still some lingering on my spiderwood. To be fair, what is still visible on the wood looks like it is is dying and I plan on wiping it all off and when I do my next water change in a day or two. To give you an idea of the amount you need, I have a 350 litre tank, and after using two doses, there is probably only enough for half of one more dose left (each dose worked out to about 12 spoonfuls for a tank this size), so not enough if I wanted to use it again at some point down the line (hopefully I won't!). Some people have mentioned this killing some of their fish, and I can confirm that I have had no issues with that, and all 7 angels, 5 dwarf cichlids, 30 or so tetras, and a plec are completely fine and the product didn't create any visible distress or issues; I kept my powerheads running and aimed one at the surface to increase oxygen along with my filter outlet. I am giving this product four stars because it's pricey, delivery takes longer due to the fact that it comes from another country, and due to the fact that I haven't been able to determine any long-term results yet.

Does what it says
Spot on, didnโt think it would work, however it removed every bit. Will pleased.

This worked.
I used this to get to grips with cyanobacteria in my planted aquarium so it was very useful. Now the aquarium is well established I do not seem to have the same proliferation of blue-green algae. Though present, it does not cause a problem by covering surfaces including plants.
