These will flood the used market soon. They are GREAT entry level detectors. Easy to order, use and discover things buried beneath. At this price it's almost impossible not to pick one up to try. That's why in a year everyone will be putting it in their garage sales or posting it to Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. Get it here with a warranty or try your luck used, it's going to find you things itlf you take it out. Tested it this year at the salt water beach and had no trouble, I was leaning towards the Legend because of salt water use but this machine did FINE for me in the ocean and on wet sand. It's sturdy enough to pickup and save a stingray from the beach and sensitive enough to pick up a rusty staple 8" down in hard packed clay dirt. Stupid staples .. anyway get beeping !! Oh absolutely waterproof to 10' for me, I didn't push the 16' Max and be sure to read about O-RING material and recommendations for salt water gear and what if any lubricant should be used after cleaning yours. I love this machine and grab it first every time unless it's a huge field, then switch coils. The little guy does okay for beach and excellent in forest land where you need to get into smaller places. It's weight is the best in class; hints the name.. LITE. The angle is acceptable for the handle but I find it a bit tiring after awhile, my thumb ends up slapping in and taking the handle to the ropes for a tight swing. The shaft is fine and locks up enough for the small coils weight. It's a bit bouncy with bigger coils but slow down and focus on your swing. I will add padding to the arm cup to make up the dead space that would accept the incredible hulks forearms in a puffy. If you're a power lifter and decide to metal detect, this will fit you! Unless you are really tall.. I'm maxed out on shaft length and I'm a touch over 6' with a long slow swing. Happy Detecting ! As of today the only update 7.01 lowers the brightness on the low setting for the screen. It is absolutely too bright at night and destroyed my night vision. The update fixed this immediately apparent issue, the cord is included for USB connection for updates.

Great detector for small gold and other metals. Easy to learn and sensitive to small pieces.

I love this thing. It’s worked well from the time I’ve bought it. Found gold, coins and the reliable pull tabs. Great buy. Will buy again. Don’t find a need for the Bluetooth feature but it would be nice if they included the input for the headphones or just created an version where you use normal headphones jack

As a newbie, I found the SIMPLEX LITE exactly what I was looking for; that is, a reasonable-cost, better quality detector that is a step above the many lower-cost devices. Very easy to assemble and use after a 3-hour USB charge up (but, the wall-plug-in converter is not included). Did a quick checkout in my backyard. It worked great using out-of-box, the default settings of FIELD and ALL METAL modes. . plus a small shovel. At 4" to 6" down, I found a flat softdrink can, a U-shaped fence nail, and a piece of tin foil. PRO: Lots of "bells & whistles" options and settings.. . that you don't have to use. Like the smaller 9" detection coil and PINPOINT feature. CONs: a 12-hr rechargeable Battery (Good for a session), but it has to be factory replaced when it fails. Manual shows an extra-cost "Optional Battery Pack", but I can't find it on the Internet. Manual gives a mix of info on 3 SIMPLEX detectors, but no separate section for each device. BOTTOM LINE: Highly Recommended for a newbie and occasional user.

This is a great product and simple to use . Not my first metal detector actually my 3rd and love the water proof capability.

Awesome detector

I have only used it once but fell in love with it. Easy to use VDI numbers that are very stable perfect for the beginner or seasoned hunter who wants a back up machine. Or to teach someone to detect. only lacks depth of higher priced machines.

This metal detector is perfect for me as a beginner. I’ve found plenty of scrap metal in my yard so I know it’s really accurate. Nothing of value yet, but I’ll keep looking!

Muy buena calidad i compra, buen vendedor. La nueva generación de simplex de verdad es mejor que el plus. Sonido mejor i mas seguro ,no mezcla los sonidos, o metal negro ,o de color i la moneda con señal muy alta. Lo del foto en trenta minutos silo

Buen detector, tiene bastante rango para discriminar ciertos metales, tiene un alcance de profundidad más o menos de 30 cm, el único detalle que le pongo es que la pantalla se raya mucho, pero con un protector de pantalla se le quita

exclusion de certains métaux (alliage aluminium difficile)

I love it.. And it was well recommended and reviewed as best bang for your buck with new technology... My only complaint is now I'm hooked on metal detecting and I wish I had a triple score. Easy to use out of the box.. Learning curve was easy peasy.

An sich tolles Gerät Wichtiger Hinweis...die ganze Anleitung ist auf Englisch....bitte bei Google eingeben... Simplex Lite Betriebsanleitung und Man bekommt dort eine 32 seitige deutsche Anleitung von 3 gleichen Modellen Dann kann der Spaß los gehen Zu dem Gerät selbst muss ich sagen ....leicht und präzise Hab es heute den 11.02.2024 ausprobiert und war für den Preis von 230€ wirklich OKI Zu dem Gerät selbst ....ich musste mich im i.net Schlauch machen wie man den Bodenabgleich macht und es war relativ einfach diese zu machen um auch gute Ergebnisse zu finden Er liegt gut in der Hand und diese Summe schnalle mit Klett ist dafür überhaupt nicht notwendig finde ich jetzt... Die Taschenlampen erfüllt sein Zweck genau auch wenn sie nicht so hell erscheint trd du ndet Mann etwas Die Helligkeit kann eingestellt werden entweder auf automatisch oder auf nromalo das sie dauerhaft an bleibt was sich aber aufs Akku auswirken wird Zu dem Pinointer muss ich sagen ...nnnjaaaaa macht was es soll bloß wenn Man die ganze Zeit mit den Daumen drauf drückt tut das ab einer gewissen Zeit dann weh was Man merkt nach einer gewissen Zeit dann....weil der Knopf echt klein ist und das drücken ..naja Zudem sage ich gleich dazu das ich am heutigen Tag mit Datum wie oben beschrieben viel gefunden habe Die leitwerte sind wichtig ......von 60 - 80 ist so gut wie immer Geld zu finden Alles was über 80 und unter 60 Leitwert liegt ...bitte erspart euch das graben außer ihr habt eine Fan liebe von Bierdeckel und co ..bei den Leitwert 93 hatte ich ein paar Spielzeug Autos gefunden aber sonst bitte nur die angegeben leitwerte da alle anderen keine Spaß machen Zum Boden abgleich zu kommen.......es ist wichtig zu sehen was ihr wollt ...ob Wald..Strand und Co was in der Beschreibung steht erstmal drauf zu Klicken ......es ist simple diese einzustellen....Mann betätigt die Taste dann wenn ihr es selbst seht ....die Taste gedrückt halten und den Detektor hoch und runter und das solange bis die Zahlen sich ca 3-4 mal wiederholen . Beispiel...( 73 - 74 - 73 - 74 ) Er piept bei jeden abgleich sich das hoch und runter Sind diese zahlen 3-4 mal die gleichen egal ob jetzt mal 2 zahlen danach oder davor das ist egal beim Abgleich ....so könnt ihr dann los legen Wie weit er Wasser dicht ist hab ich noch nicht getestet Er ist beim zusammen legen mit 2 Handgriffen bzw klemmen klein und handlich sodass er gut tragbar ist Ich nehme gerne den Strand Modus da ich oft auf Spielplätze bin und es dort super ist zu suchen Zu beachten bitte ..um so näher man an einen Spielgerät ist desto mehr zeigt er an das dort was zu finden ist ...von Metal Objekt Spielgeräte ca 10 cm ..also nicht in die Irre führen lassen Der Zusammenbau an sich ist leicht verständlich
